My favorite new show, thanks guys! This podcast made me remember I went to a live action stage play of power rangers when I was very young. Where the audience had to use little reflectors to defeat a large inflatable lord zedd

The discussions in this episode made me recognize two things in other shows.

1- The hand-wave in MMPR ep 1 that let them just know how to pilot their Zords is like in The Matrix where they can just download the ability to fly a helicopter. Did they take that from MMPR? (I kid)

2- It struck me that the “generic industrial district” locations they use a bunch in various Super Sentai shows may have been part of the inspiration of the look of MHA’s UA training ground simulated city backgrounds. It’s fresh in mind the Class 1A vs Class 1B set of episodes and the fights among a bunch of pipes and such.

I can’t wait to listen to this after I catch up. But more importantly I’m anxious to relive the introduction of the Green Ranger. I’m reading the comics now and they are surprisingly great.

I think my biggest issue with Uncle Howard's invisibility formula is that it can turn anything invisible. How the heck do you put it in a mason jar without the mason jar turning invisible?

I dunno which I'm enjoying more, the show or the podcast.

This podcast is awesome. I don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves here, but I hope that some day you guys do a special episode for the movies :D That would be so much fun.
