Still working on a level. I feel like I basically have creators block. But I am making some progress every time I open up the editor.

in the thumbnail, the red fire from the level looks just like the red video progress bar

Dan mentioned Quackshot so I checked out the Bombastica where he beats it, it's pretty funny that they happen to reference Mario Maker quite a bit in that video. Full circle.

This is a good show, definitely better than just doing "GB makes Mario" over and over.

That castle level is stunningly good, holy shit. And represents GB as well as a possible in a damn Mario level.

I'm confused by the whole "contest" aspect of this feature. Why are they rewarding annoying levels?

Love what you guys are doing with this show. Great to see two critics working together in a medium they love.

Unrelated: that infested airship level is totally giving me a Bionic Commando vibe.

Picking a thumbnail with lava across the bottom made think I had somehow already watched the video. Also, there has to be someway to format the video where 30 percent of the screen is not wasted space. It looks really bad.

Yep, it's Wiggler Wednesday

One place Mario is weirdly verbal is the first Mario Vs. Donkey Kong game for GBA. Especially in the end credits where he says full lines like "Ah, that Charles Martinet. Nice Italian boy!" and "You know, I gotta say, it's nice having a little Mini-Mario."

Pretty sure on that "History's Greatest Monster" one you were supposed to keep the Moon alive until the rightmost end of the level and then collect it to kill the Thwomp.

Still really enjoying this feature; great stuff guys!

It's also possible to use the star to kill the Thwomp if you don't collect it too early, not sure if that was the creators intention.

I had a plan that I would clear all levels posted in the "Get On My Level" forum but that level was just too much, I can't stand the wind mechanics. Fun level to see the guys struggle with. :)

Late to the party but I just want to say awesome of you Ben to take in a shelter animal. Too often people go for the breeders and it's just not right, to me at least. My dog was a stray in Greece and now he's fat and lazy sleeping on the couch, I love him to bits.

I was impressed by how Ben played. He's damn good at Mario. This has been fun to watch.

Hobbs & Shaw is way better than the last Fast & Furious. I'd say it's even better than the one before that if not for the final act. Hobbs & Shaw is one of those movies that goes way too long but I had fun most of it.
