I don't know what people have against Ben; I legit didn't know some folks didn't like him.

Ben is a delight.

He's said some stuff that didn't jive with me in the past sure but everyone does at some point; doesn't make me like them any less.

I know everyone is entitled to their opinions though of course.

But as for this episode; loved it, always enjoy seeing Hitman on here.

Fire him? Jesus you people go from 0 to 100 quick. I actually think he is intelligent and has some good takes on the industry. And I like him on the Aftermath podcast with Jeff. I just personally think more variety is needed when it comes to QL's and guests on UPF. I know Jeff was out for a while but it felt like the website was Giantben.com not Giantbomb.com

It's a perfectly valid question. Your initial comment was how the show was improved without someone. So the question was posited to you as to whether you wanted that to be permanent. It's not a tremendous logic leap.

Which is the classic little tag people put on their shit to make it seem like they're being constructive. Especially in this case it vaguely suggests that what? Someone on GB would be like "You know what, we have to keep Ben off of UPF forever because dicks in the comments said so!"

Read my other comment. I just want more variety. Many people get tired the same person hijacking conversations with overly talkative awkward sarcastic millennial cringe humor who always laugh at their own jokes. Giantbomb staff should be be better than YouTubers. *NAME REDACTED* is not even close to the quality Drew, Dave, Patrick, or Austin brought to the website. And when one pays for a service they ARE entitled to a quality product or at the very least the ability to provide feedback. Even if it's negative. If a player on a sports team sucks, fans boo. That's how the world works buddy. I have talked to numerous people in real life and on multiple platforms (including GB community) who stopped coming to GB and at least a half dozen who have cancelled their subs altogether.

@stinky51012: I love that you're defending yourself by using assholes who boo at sports players as a comparison. That's shitty behavior. I sincerely hope someone comes to your job and boos you out of the door. That's basically what you're trying to incite here. Please join the morons who canceled their subscription because of trivial BS. It would be welcomed by the rest of us.

I never said "forever", I just wanted more variety. And there are more people who agree with me than you realize, just read the flood of initial comments before they get moderated out.

Too many people here confuse being an asshole with constructive criticism and yes, I'm tired of it. There's nothing ironic about that.

Also, in your follow up posts, you somehow make yourself sound like even MORE of a jerk despite thinking you're justifying your behavior. You aren't. If you don't like a staff member so much it ruins content, either don't watch the content or leave. Those are your options. Saying "I don't like *this person*" isn't constructive criticism, it's just you being an asshole. And worse, it's being an asshole in a way that just shows you WANT people to hear your'e being an asshole, and probably WANT to hurt a staff members feelings. Because guess what, chief? Ben isn't going to be fired because you threw a temper tantrum in the comments of a video.

And you're basically using the same logic as "America: love it or leave it". That's cool "chief" throw in some cultural appropriation too. You seem like a real educated person...
