Giant Bombcast 11-22-2011

Will Smith and I had the exact same idea about a Skylanders/COD crossover. except mine involved being able to bring your classes, downloaded into the figures to your friends house. I know quite a few people around college age that just sit around and play COD on one persons account taking turns. They would probably be into that.

I just want to point out that Morrowind's expansion 'Bloodmoon' added a new huge island (Solstheim) that you could freely swim or transport too. So they have done that before, but a while ago. I don't expect Patrick, or any of the crew to know that since they never liked or played Morrowind. Except for Vinny, because Vinny is awesome.

Finally Will gets pulled up on his pronunciation of "executable", which has been driving me crazy for months!

It executes a function, it doesnt sit in a boardroom wearing a suit!

Executives is pronounced Will Smith style - but not Executables. They have the same root word, so our language seems to be broken.

Also, a competition, Siri vs Win7 Phone searching for offensive things. Many poor purchasing decisions depend on it.

Seriously, play Skyward Sword in Dolphin. I'm running it in 1080p with no issues (there's a guide for it). I the disc in my Wii, just to check and no. Nope. That game is meant for HD. In fact, I'm betting they'll re-release it as a launch title for the Wii U.

What the hell is wrong with you guys and your consoles?! Skyrim locking up 2 times before the intro is over? Your consoles must be broken or something. I´m about 50 hours in and I´ve had 2 lockups so far, both on a loading screen. Maybe I´m just lucky, but I think this game runs a lot better than previous Bethesda games.

Wait. They have never encoutered a sleeping dragon? I'm 40 hours in, Brad has put in at least over 60 from what I've heard and I've stumbled on a handful of idle dragons usually perched on a tower. There's one in something Crater, as well.

@kollay: I'm fifty hours in and haven't encountered a single sleeping dragon. Then again, I'm a heavy armor juggernaut so anyone can hear me coming from a mile away.

I'd like to throw in a vote for a Jurassic Park quick-look-athon :D Especially the SNES one and Trespasser. Trespasser was crazy at it's time.. and for so many reason lol I got funny memories of that game.

On the XBL hacks, I was hacked back in the beginning of September. I know how to avoid a phishing scam, I don't give my passwords out to anyone, I don't sign up for "free microsoft points" sites or anything of the like, and I use strong passwords. Currently, I'm a freelance writer with most of my work covering tech / gaming. Previously, I have worked in IT. What I'm saying here is that I'm reasonably certain I didn't do anything to give out my password, but the account was hacked anyway. It might not directly be EA's fault, but the people breaking into XBL accounts to buy FIFA gear aren't relying solely on foolish gamers to give up their passwords easily.

edit: Also I have a 50 foot HDMI cable that goes to the other room and the only issue I have at 1080p is the v-sync is messed up. Minor issue as long as the game has v-sync turned on, otherwise there's two seams, which is ugly. I always thought it was cause the cable was only 50 bucks and a cheapy.
