Y'all ever break a toilet before?

Have a good weekend everyone!
@gearsman: You too!
The movie Brad is thinking of is "Linda Linda Linda". Surprised Ben didn't find it considering the title. Good movie by the way.
Someone tell Brad that surgical masks aren't necessarily effective against smoke particles unless they're also N95 or P100 rated. It's because the soft masks don't really make the required seal against your face.

@genericbrotagonist: The song was also in a number of Japanese games, I first heard it from Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan

I felt bad for Brad. He looked waaaay hungover
Ok, I need to get Sunset Overdrive this looks fun.

this was all VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
Rorie: I'm a boner
Jeff: Fuck me to death
Why is it buffering so much?? Is it the site? Is it my internet? Is it my computer? Is it because Hitman 2 is downloading in the background?? Is it because of the Fall of Net Neutrality??? The World may never know!!
Woah professor Ben is looking sharp!
@dryker: This video was buffering a bit for me too on my iPad Pro, and their videos never seem to buffer for me lately, so I’m thinking it was on their end.
Stop the show!! Oh, wait, I'm watching the archived. Delete the feed! Cool Baby has no glasses! I can't watch this...

So I don't really get fighting games, they're just not my thing. It sounds like Omen of Sorrow isn't any good (because I trust Jason, Jeff, and Ben when they say a fighting game feels good or bad), but the idea of a it and the look of it are kind of cool.
That game Rorie was playing looks really cool, too.
Less than 5 minutes in and poop is already mentioned. Fantastic.
what a thumbnail
Ben looks like Jeff Goldblum with those glasses
Let it gas
Oh man, that game Rorie was playing looked really cool. We could always use more games that have comic book-style art in them. Another good example of a game like that is the first Infamous (I honestly can't remember if the second Infamous kept the comic book trappings or not.)
It's weird, Linda Linda seems to be The Blue Hearts' most popular song, but it's not how I know them.
There was an anime called the The Rolling Girls, which is basically the most colorful and happy post-apocalypse anime ever made, that has an opening, ending, and insert song that are covers of The Blue Hearts songs done by the main cast. It's pretty good and the best thing the Attack on Titan animation studio has ever made!
It looks like the PS4 and Switch versions of different games with different songs though. I need Cha-La Head-Cha-La, man!
Tap Titans 2 is rad as hell. Thank you Jeff, but also fuck you Jeff for introducing that game to me. I've put in 700 hours and $100 and have played very little else all year
Damn Reviewer 2 and his demand for sound tests! It's a field trial! Some efficiencies of the lab can be ignored for the urgency of data and result. If anything, it's more valid than the sterilized lab conditions of the previous tests. We can see fan reaction immediately, with access to Chat, Brad, AND Rorie's insights. Perhaps there are unknown variables the scientists haven't considered, such as "does the game look sweet to the audience who knows nothing about fighting science?", or "Would a neophyte want to pick up the controller here and try it, even if they don't like fighting games?" We don't know! Perhaps Fight Club and Street Combat play an important niche in the fighting genre acting like gateway games to onramp novices into the more sophisticated tournament staples like Sailor Moon S.

Nice of them to acknowledge the feedback on the website redesign although I think the problems lie a bit deeper than just shows not showing up in proper categories. Still good that they have some to-do list. After all the complaining they always do about the XB1 dashboard I guess they see now that it's not that easy to design a new UI, cause boy finding anything or getting anywhere is kind of a real pain now on the website these days.
Also a shame absolutely no one cared about Sunset because I was excited to see the PC version played as I am interested in getting it. That whole segment was a real typical UPF moment of Brad quietly playing the game while everyone just talked about whatever, sometimes talking over him when he tried to say something about the game. But UPF is always kinda uneven like that.
Jeff's love for clickers is unquenchable though! Also made me realize that it was a pretty rough year for Jeff in the AAA department, a lot of games that just weren't for him which is a bummer.
Don't tease me with ranking new fighter releases and then not do it, damn it! That's been my dream right from the beginning of the reboot series, man... :(
Hey isn't there some sort of premium membership sale or something? Great show but a heads up would've been nice.
I wish only humans or super mutants had weapons, I was hoping hearing a gunshot would be more impactful but at least in the early game I've played its most likely low level enemies having a janky 1000 shot battle. If you're curious I would suggest Redbox before buying. Heads up though there is a mandatory 51 gig download to play the game if you are on disc.
LINDA LINDA, LINDA LINDA LINDAAAA. This was a great UPF

These videos never play for me since they switched to the new website design.

Fuck me to death.
Someone save Brad from this Unprofessional Friday
Damn, Sunset Overdrive looks better than I thought. Didn't this game sell fairly mediocre at launch?
It took me about fifteen minutes to realize how funny "My Triumphant Face is Priceless" is.
Edit: Also any roguelike with a stat-based progression system immediately loses me because it turns the game into a grind, as opposed to something you explore and learn about mechanically. Takes the focus off of the gameplay and puts it on point-hoarding and spending time. Even Necrodancer, a game which I like a lot, feels like a chore to play sometimes because a run without any diamonds feels like a wasted run.
Oh my god the beginning of this episode is exactly a joke from All in the Family.
That Ranking of Fighters bit would've been great if Jason could command the room in any sense.
It's a shame that Omen of Sorrow Game "feels terrible." I actually liked the way it looked.
If someone told me Omen of Sorrow was the next NetherRealm game I'd believe them.
Really enjoyed this UPF! Hopefully Jeff will get to Ben's Mario Maker level from Extra Life soon.
they're being way less vocal about the real problems with the new site redesign which is kind of a shame because it comes off as a little dishonest. they used to really go on about problems with their chat and other things back in the day.
Man, sometimes I feel like Jim Carrey in the Truman Show. Right before I sat down to watch this while I play Path of Exile, I watched a couple episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion with my girlfriend before she went to bed. Path of Exile discussed briefly, and A Cruel Angel's Thesis (the theme from that anime) played in the rhythm game.
Currently looking for hidden cameras.
Holy shit that was a great UPF!
So that Killer 7 PC port finally came out huh. I thought it would come a lot sooner after the source code was found on an unprotected Capcom FTP, which was over a year ago.
