I'm glad to hear that they are going to drop that annoying Nintendo segment at the end next year. I always want to fast forward past it because they are never fun to listen to, but I always feel like I might miss something if I do.

Under the convoluted rules of the Giant Bomb Senate, a four vote majority is required to break a filibuster.

I just don't know if a developer or publisher owned podcast can work when there is stiff competition from unbiased parties like Giant Bomb.

I think it's weird that whenever anyone talks about Game of the Year, whether its here or on any other site, that noone mentions Super Street Fighter IV on their list. I know it's just sort of an update to 2009's Street IV, but still: It's fighting game perfection.

i fucking hated  Bayonetta baught it on sale, waste of moeny too button masshy and automated and shit story.

" @KuribosShoe: Black Ops received as much "writing off" as most other military shooters have on the site, and I don't recall Jeff crediting it so much for its originality as much as he thought the game was exciting, and the muliplayer maps were pretty good. From the sound of his review, he kinda hated everything else. Not sure what that has to do with anything :/

Tell me, how were you able to infer that I'm forcing people to like a game? I'd be all in favour of these opinions if they were even half qualified to pass them. I'm not even trying to decree quality of the game like so many mini-Jeffs here responding to me (such as yourself). I just feel like kind of a fool for expecting more of the GB crew than to sit around mindlessly gratifying their audience's opinion. It's disappointing - that's all. "

Jeff Gerstmann's WiiWare/DSiWare sounds like Phillip Seymour-Hoffman for some reason. o.o;

Jeff Green's voice makes me think I'm listening to Al Franken at times.

Was Jeff supposed to be an elcor at the end there?

I'm sure that somebody has mentioned this, but in regards to Jeff considering Devil May Cry a button masher (as opposed to Bayonetta), I'd just like to point out that the combos in those games are all rhythm-based, so if you're mashing buttons then you're doing the same combo over and over again.

Hearing the voice actor for the Elcor in Mass Effect 1 and 2 read the Nintendo stuff was great.
