FYI guys, the reason the player takes so long to load is because certain adblockers (like ublock) block our video metrics plugin. The thing that tells us how well our CDN is doing and how much buffering is happening. Unfortunately it doesn't block it immediately either so our player is just sitting there waiting for it to load until it finally gives up. I'd like to put in a workaround but it's so hard to detect. Whitelisting giantbomb in ublock or whitelisting this fdomain will fix the issue:

@hivetyrant: In college my friends and I engaged in something called "Four Four Loko" night in which you consume four Four Lokos over the course of a two hour period. I do not remember finishing the fourth can but I do remember waking up in my bed with vomit on my pillow.

@wcarle: This seems a significant enough user experience improvement that I wouldn't mind a pop-up explaining this. I had no idea and thought it was just a bug. If I didn't go to this video and scroll down in the comments, I would still have no idea. Just my two cents, but I think this is one pop-up/notification that other users wouldn't mind.

I had two four Lokos the gold and I think black or something. One was even brighter green that that one. Tasted awful too.
