Hey look, it's my favorite current series!

I hope Ben realizes that the car requires fuel and can leave you stranded in the middle of nowhere.

The combat right now seems absolutely brutal. I seem to recall things getting easier later on, once you have access to top-tier equipment. Have yet to see combat armor, let alone power armor so far.

Also isn't there a time limit to save Arroyo?

@arzonk: There's a time limit to save the Vault in Fallout 1 but in FO2 you can take your time.

@benpack I'm loving the series, but I wish you wouldn't entertain selling your companions into slavery. That's pretty rough, even for Fallout.

Also, keep in mind that any unused Action Points at the end of a round go into your Armor Class, giving you extra defense, if you didn't know that already.

I completed Fallout 1, but watching this series makes me realize how little time I spent with Fallout 2.

@cyraxible: @arzonk: there is a time limit in 2 but it is several years.

also hot tip for @benpack, never let sulik hold a knife in his inventory his ai loves to switch from whatever good weapon you've given him to any old knife mid-combat

but also, especially with melee enemies, it can be a much better use of the spare AP to move away so they get fewer attacks rather than get a slight increase in AC

Those wanamingos are really tough, I remember having a terrible time fighting those.

the wanamingo mine is so much tougher than ANYTHING else at the point in the game you can encounter it. it takes like a good couple weeks worth of new reno/ncr encounter save scumming worth is ammo to wipe it out comfortably unless you wait till real game to tackle it.

@benpack It's not described in game, but the car has a substantial trunk for item storage, and takes microfusion cells as fuel.

Fun stream, and will definitely make the following ones smoother with regard to random encounters. The car adds a lot to Fallout 2. It's totally rad.
