I had the same takeaway as Tina re: Evangelion, even as an adult man. The show was also pretty erratic thematically and seemed to have characters switch gears on a whim, and that's on top of the deeply problematic depictions of consent and sexuality. On a very surface level I enjoyed it as a monster-of-the-week drama with a dark theme but under any kind of scrutiny, it absolutely falls to pieces.

It might be because I had a fever and was generally not doing well, but the very slow tempo of Balan Wonderworld was sort of nice. It's just cute and nice to run around and do stuff, and wonder why you're throwing birds at a mill so you can then throw birds at a slide, so... Yeah, that thing's weird.

Also, Gabe should get try and get better shoes or maybe check if he needs support soles, because I have had those problems and they suck.

Didn't know 8-4 Play was still going, I'll have to go back & check out some of the ones I've missed. Completely & totally disagree with Tina's terrible takeaway's on Evangelion & to be nice I'll just leave it at that.
