The thing that got ruined for me was pre-ground coffee thanks to a commenter on this very site pointing out that people with cockroach allergies may also be allergic to pre-ground coffee. It took me way too long to put it together but now I’m disgusted every time I think about it (and buying whole bean to do the grinding myself).

So in a lot of VHS copies and stuff BttF would, after the sequels came out, have the to be continued at the end. This is the version I grew up with, so I was always under the assumption that there was indeed a greenlit trilogy, but it actually just cuts to black and credits originally. The second one has to be continued followed by a teaser.

Kind of how they did it with the original Star Wars getting "Episode IV" in the opening crawl all of a sudden.

Huge BttF fan. Have seen the trilogy so many times. Never thought that line about the weather service meant they control the weather. Just that they can predict it extremely accurately, which is fantasy enough on its own to this day.

Edit to add: I love mint chocolate chip ice cream. I would hate it too if it tasted like toothpaste, but that has literally never happened.

I personally love Jan being able to play sounds that no one but us hears hahaha
