I sure wish there was a way to tell when the video Bombcast went up. "Watch Now" has certain inaccurate implications.

They must have done a very bad job of surfacing the movement options on Borderlands VR cause this about the third podcast I've seen it brought up, but I'm pretty certain there is a free movement option besides awful teleportation. Heck now that I think about it pretty sure IGN had to pull another one of their reviews cause the reviewer based his whole review on not having it and was corrected.

I just got a Windows Mixed Reality headset and chose the seated option, playing Vive games by using two joysticks to emulate moving around around in "room scale." A) there is absolutely no need for room scale (nothing wrong with it if you're into it, I guess), B) moving around with dual joysticks is causing me no problems at all, and I tend to get nauseous easily.

"Samsung wrapped them both up" had me laughing.

edit: Did giantbomb just recreate cable packages but with games? You gotta package a bunch of niche games in that wouldn't make it on their own to offer enough variety for a large enough base of subscribers, i.e. offer Sea of Thieves AND Madden.

Ds4 and move on borderlands 2 vr both have free movement. Why do giantbomb(and other sites) continue to give out this damaging false information? How hard is it to goto the options or just Google it?. Other sites are shite and I've come to expect it but I thought giantbomb were better than that but it seems every time they get it wrong also.

@janman Just listening to you chat about your new rhythm game. You should check out VOEZ for Switch if you haven't already: nearly 200 songs in the library now (of mixed quality, depending on your tastes), costs about $25 I think, though I picked it up on sale not long ago. Also is steeped in that anime, if that's your thing. Oh, it's got a demo you can download too. It's fun!

EDIT: Just looked up Cytus and it was made by the same company as VOEZ. Woah!

EDIT 2: Got to shout out Witcher 3 for its DLC: it's all great, but Blood and Wine is better than most full games.

Timespinner looks so much like Order of Ecclesia that it really blurs the line between homage and rip-off to me. The characters attack animations and the weapons system are nearly identical.

I'm really hoping Nintendo is holding off on releasing Mario Maker 2 because they are busy developing the same concept of Mario Maker to their other franchises and will release a Nintendo Maker instead. A game just like Mario Maker but it would add in a Zelda Maker. I would love to play Custom Zelda Maps that could swap back and forth between NES and SNES graphics. Maybe a full map would be too difficult but I could totally see custom dungeons being a thing. I think the formula could also work with Metroid swapping between NES, Gameboy Advanced and SNES graphics.

If they did it they would probably release them separately but you can always dream...

For the mario maker rule thing that Ben brought up, it would work if they just had two different rule sets and differentiate them on the menu. Have "jeffs big level" with normal enemy behavior look normal on the menu but "bens crazy jam" has a special logo next to it to show that shit is weird

I thought that the Assassin's Creed: Odyssey single player DLC was supposed to be good? I keep thinking of going through those. I think it is weird to give something a bad rap because its not IN the same areas you were in before, like in Fallout, because it should be about giving you something new and something more. In multiplayer it certainly should be integrated into the main game. I think BLOPS4 kind of sucks so I won't give them anything for DLC but thankfully all of the Battlefield V dlc is free.

It was good to hear that Ben and Jeff played Timespinner to see that it wasn't as much of a Symphony of the Night clone as Brad made it out to be.

Dont know if this is or isnt allowed but does anyone have a hint when DBZ podcast is coming back if it was canceled or something. Surprised the most popular cast on the site gets shafted but idk.

Just saw the broly movie 2018 and literally their is 40+ minutes of straight fighting with about no repeating animations and handdrawn cells etc. Reminded me of the cast and how cool it would be if they saw ____ and ___ interacting in that movie.
