Hearing about that Claptrap mission was just...depressing.

Thanks to Jeff, my balls are no longer a bloody mess. Thank you Jeff, my balls will thank you!

Played some Dota Underlords and it definitly helps to have played some Dota. Like Ogre Magi pairs excellent with a hero like drow ranger that just wants to get as many shots out as possible. Or realizing that a Tiny hits hard but slow, and that a moonshard helps a bunch to get him to attack faster. Or realizing that DK's ult gives him splash damage and more health regen, so making sure he gets his ult off quickly by sticking a mana item on him is very beneficial. Or making sure that Axe is in the middle of a fight and not near the outskirts of a battle so his call is ineffective. And naturally you want your beefy heroes up top & your squishy ones near the back. If there's not much AOE on the opponent's team, you want everyone clumped up. If you're getting owned by AOE damage, you want to split up.

Nit: pretty sure fixed-beat mode actually is just like Bard from the original Necrodancer (meaning, the enemies' beat being based on your movements is not specific to Cadence of Hyrule).

I'm with Jeff on the streaming future discussion. Google has no chance in the gaming market as it's not a made name there and furthermore they are trying to make a name with an experimental service. Unless Microsoft or Sony totally botch the marketing on their streaming services we won't be seeing Stadia for much longer.

And yes paying for online play on consoles was always ridiculous but people bought it so it continued to exist, and it will continue to exist until people are okay with it.

I'm really enjoying Ghosts of Tsushima. When I was hearing about some of the mediocre impressions, I was a little disappointed. I took a chance though and bought it. Don't regret it at all. At least so far. I am a bit of a samurai movie buff so maybe my enjoyment has been hinging on nostalgia. I'm also a sucker for far cry style open world games. Anyway, like Alex was saying this game is really scratching multiple itches for me and the sword combat is sublime... I really love it.
