I agree. I understand its usefulness for topics and info on guests and whatnot, but I prefer to feel like I'm at the other end of the table with the guys, especially when they look at the producer (Jan or Jason). The giant banner spanning the bottom of the screen completely breaks that. Plus, why isn't that awesome wooden sign not still framed in its entirety!? That was the perfect Bombcast frame.

@schindigg: Honestly, if you think this is true of the crew regarding their impartiality, I don't know why you even visit the site.

Ubisoft games still run through Uplay if you get them on Steam. I have Wildlands on Steam (and plenty of other Ubisoft games as well), but all the invite stuff is still handled by Uplay. Sure, you get your Steam overlay, but you still need the friends as Uplay friends in order to do anything with them.

What's the deal with millennials doing the "chef's kiss" thing. It's somehow even more annoying than ironically dabbing and I've seen EVERYWHERE online overnight. I don't get how this started or why it's the cool thing to do now. I seriously hate it. Even Rorie is doing it now! Just venting on pointless bs, don't mind me...

I cannot handle how much Rorie rambles and changes topics mid-thought. It's too grating to listen to. I'm grateful for the good work he does elsewhere on the site, but his contribution hurts any conversation on a podcast.

I also bought an SSD (internal) for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and I'm guessing having an internal one versus and external (like Jason bought) is making quite a difference? I did some testing before and after and I was seeing 1/3rd to 1/4th the load times. In fact just loading my save went from over a minute to just ~20 seconds. Returning from a quest went from 40-50 seconds to 10 seconds or less. Expedition load times (which are the longest load times in the game) went from ~1:10 to roughly ~24 seconds.

The real issue is that if you have an SSD and you are playing with friends you are obviously gonna have to wait on them. It will not just let you run around in the mission wasting a minute on the timer. So it forces everyone to spawn in at the same time. But overall, for farming by myself, it's actually a crazy upgrade for the game.

All this isn't to say that I don't want day and date PC versions though. I'd be playing on my PC for damn sure if that was the case. But I'm impatient.

I'm really loving Gears 5. It's definitely the best campaign they've created and the package in general is amazing. Shame Jeff isn't liking it.

I've noticed more and more lately that Jeff's opinions and mine about games differ. He used to be the guy I could most closely resemble my likes with.

Jeff finds Gears 5 campaign a drag to play, wow just wow. I thought Gears 5 campaign was one of the most balls out fun games I have played in awhile.
