I'm very excited to see Danny back, again. But I gotta say, don't go breaking my heart and leaving any time soon! The fact that Brad just rolls through Danny's name in the middle of the cast and not as a guest has my hopes up.

I personally played and beat Super Ghouls & Ghost. It was one of the first games I played on my SNES as a kid and I loved it. Yes, it was hard with many frustrating deaths, but that was understood about video games back in the day. The term " Nintendo Hard" existed for a reason, and arcade games were worse because of the nickel and dime aspect. Seems like Capcom made the same mistake with this latest game in the series the people behind the Battletoads game that came out last year made. Making it too much like the classic games and not modernizing it for people who simply don't have the patience to deal with the high difficulty. Though at least Battletoads did have good updated graphics that almost pass for a cartoon series and a decent rock soundtrack.

Any bombcast with Dr. Tracksuit lore is a good bombcast.

I feel the same way about Valheim that I do about Octopath Traveler, which is that the graphics are cute for a little bit but the two styles absolutely do not mesh. Not that they can't ever, but the bloom and god rays and other tech make the textures look like they're always Unreal Engine 3'ing.

@the_nubster: Yeah, the visuals in Valheim are very incongruous. It's a deliberate choice on their part, and I respect them going for it, but it's not for me.

Can't believe there was so little hype for Diablo 2. That game still has not been surpassed by another action RPG. There's a very low chance that D4 will be more fun than D2.

Wii fit balance boards came in almost every single day when I used to work at goodwill for their auction site. There was a pallet full of them lol.

Some of us play Diablo 2 through at least once every year or few. That is, climbing from zero to elite gear. This process, just something about it. Note this is primarily people playing online - the trading, knowing the ins and outs of item values, dumping stuff on newbs to give them a leg up. There's a lot of satisfaction in it. If your expected experience is just playing through Norm on single-player, I can see why one might shrug at this.

This remaster is about fixing things they had no chance of fixing in the old code since it was technically impossible. Shared stash/expanded stash (no more muling) and a new bnet back end (botting was TERRIBLE.) If they could have done these two things to the old game, I wouldn't even care about the new one. Personally I'm super curious what the economy is going to be like with zero botting going on.

@dya: Danny mention in a recent NoClip vlog that he'll be there as long as they want him, so it seems like he'll be a regular for a while, which is great.

UT2004 remaster!!! Let's go! Love that game so much. Really enjoyed Onslaught. I miss the FPS/vehicle combat combination.

I was totally not expecting anything from the new V:TM, because Hardsuit Labs makes shit games and I wasn't expecting anything good from them. This game should not have been handed to a low tier studio.

However now knowing they spent 5 years on this, despite them not making good games, I feel bad for them. IMO this is on Paradox choosing Hardsuit to begin with.

Oh my god yes Justice should do another Tron OST. like Jeff said, Daft Punk-adjacent, but I find Justice's music to be so much more layered and musical than Daft Punk. Where Daft Punk made some pretty solid club bangers, Justice makes music that is worth listening to for itself.

Jeff's garbled hurricane kick sfx was astonishingly good here.

Chili without beans is just meat soup

My brother doesn't like beans in chili. Subsequently, our chili is quite lackluster.

I don't think it was intentional or "malicious," but that Noclip announcement video did seem like it was going to be a negative thing. That kind of vague title is usually reserved for something closing down, or a key staff member leaving, or something along those lines. It's a bit clickbaity, honestly.

Please keep having Danny on the show. He's terrific and the show has been great lately with him. Thanks!
