Well I'm genuinely curious to see where this site goes. Have a lot of great people here so I don't see why this can't work. Why Jeff left, is beyond me, but I wish him nothing but the best. It's a little weird, not going to lie, but I do love everyone's enthusiasm here.

After tuning in to this episode, I realized just how much I love everyone on this show and love how supportive and loyal this community is. There really is no better site out there. That being said, I'm locked back in and can't wait to see what the future of Giant Bomb holds.

I love Giant Bomb and I love all 9 of you. Welcome back Dan I will follow you anywhere, you are amazing. Welcome on fully to Lucy Tamoor and Jeff you guys absolutely rock and cant wait to see how you impact the site. Jan Ochoa though is the best thing to happen to this site in a long time. Love this crew, love this renewed focus on games. My only wish is for more sweet, sweet Film and 40s with this excellent cast.

It's sad Jeff is gone, but judging by how well his first Twitch stream went, he'll be ok. Glad to see he received so much support.

And after watching this live, it sounds as if the site is in good hands. More live coverage, some staff-in-office shenanigans (Hoping for a Business Dave return), and Dan Ryckert's brand of chaos will be interesting to follow.

Apart from the weird sendoff (I really hope due to corporate reasons) this is the refresh the site needs...I'm sure Tam and Lucy add a lot to the site (and they're great, esp. unchained Tam) - but Ryckert and Grubb bring the content I want. The Super Mario Maker duels between Dan and Patrick as well as Metal Gear Scanlon are up there in terms of my favourite GB series. Also, Demo Derby should return, although thinking about this, a lot of Dan's best stuff relies on face to face interaction... I hope they can create that vibe on stream - Arcade Pit has a good handle on it..

@deer: what I'm really saying is, Dan can be annoying as fuck in podcasts

I really didn't think y'all could bring me back to GB after all the shit that's happened but man you guys did it. I'm legit excited for the future of Giant Bomb. I can't wait.

@mondels: Yes, it's a very unhealthy joy I am experiencing. i know it's not good for me. it will most likely hurt my brain having to listen to him, but I am very much looking forward to his return. i really can't do fire escape, the combined energy of him and Mike is too much for me.

Giant Bomb is a special kind of special. It is to me at least. I will never stop loving people who love video games to the degree that I do. Kind regards and keep it up. <>
