Shorter hair is not a shaved head. It is just a hair cut.

I'm not sure if this is how this works but if the talk of a stardew playthrough was real, I'd like to cast a vote for that happening. That would be great!

If VR is good for one thing it's table tennis simulation. It's shocking how close to reality Eleven feels.

Also got a gamecube-purple Funkey S. It's way too small actually and I love it. It's ok to badly play gameboy games on it though.

Grubb's makeover reminds me of Mick Foley's haircut. I dunno, looks sharp. Nintendo probably just held back the Prime announcement to get back at Jeff breaking news early, that must be it.

Edit: Ok, Jan immediately invoked Mrs. Foley's baby boy, lol.

@voidburger: you should check out Walkabout Mini Golf VR. It's a very fun mini golf game that has DLC courses based off of Jules Verne books, Myst and the movie Labyrinth! Game and all DLC is like $25.

@janman: I don't know if any are in the free version, but Davinci resolve has a number of AI powered features. Including a newly added voice isolation feature.

The paid version isn't cheap at $300, but if you end up liking the software, it's definitely worth it.

Re: Starfield's Launch Window

Whether or not it's a "hot mess" / broken at launch (it's a BETHESDA GAME, so it's guaranteed)... it don't matter.

If games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Fallout 76 have shown us anything: gamers are addicts who don't care "how the sausage gets made" and apologists who fill forgive repeated slights, surrendering their consumer rights (when the shouldn't); Microsoft will still hype the game to the Moon, trotting Todd "Sweet Little Lies" Howard out on stages to drive hype / pre-sell it; it will still have massive pre-order numbers (even with Game Pass); Bethesda's Modding Community will still devote 10's of thousands of UNPAID man hours / labor to fix Starfield, make it playable, and create content for it (See: Skyrim), which Bethesda knows / exploits (because Todd & Crew can't be bothered to fix anything in their broken games, regardless of how many editions they release over the years); Xbox / Bethesda stans will come out in force to vehemently defend inferior products they're paying good money for (which is true for all gamers); media outlets and Twitch / YT streamers will still, unironically call it good / the best / the "GOTY" (cause Microsoft's money spends)...

It just doesn't matter. Gamers have long-accepted paying full-price for "public Alphas / Betas" of AAA games, from billion / trillion dollar publishers and devs.

@janman hearing you talk about Resolve was super fun. As someone who edits videos semi-professionally and made the jump a few years ago, I never want to go back to Premiere. Resolve is just a much better user experience (and far more reliable. I switched to Resolve after a series of catastrophic Premiere crashes that destroyed a lot of work, and it's been so much more stable). It's pretty good for doing audio work too since it has a built in DAW! It's not necessarily a replacement for something like Protools or Reaper but it's still quite nice. I would definitely recommend getting the pro version of Resolve if you like it, for $300 you get a lot of really nice advanced features like temporal noise reduction and multi-GPU support.

Showing how Davinci Resolve works would actually be a great idea. Lots of people have always been interested in learning new things but don't know how/where/are scared to start. An ice breaker segment showing basics and what the bigger/better changes are would actually be super interesting.

My 3 year-old’s favorite game until Goat Simulator 3 came out was also Elden Ring! I’ve had a lot of time to think about it, and I think there’s a level of realism that catches kids’ eyes. That and all the animals.

Thanks for answering my Kinect question! The stroke recovery stuff is super interesting, I had no idea. Glad that little outcast is getting some use outside of gaming.
