Since they were wondering how the Xenoblades are connected (sorta spoilers)

Xenoblade 1 and Xenoblade 2 happen simultaneously in alternate realities and then without getting into the details Xenoblade 3 is a direct sequel to both. Xenoblade X on Wii U is unconnected to the trilogy as far as we know.
