Y’know how Metallica always say each album is them just getting back to jamming like when they were young but now they’re old and massive?

Red Hot Chili Peppers actually are that. All their albums since By The Way sound like first drafts or the outcome of jams and it doesn’t really sound good

It's funny to hear discussion of taste and technique in regards to a band that exists to release double albums of Kermit the Frog yelling about steak knives.
