I said it in chat but I'll say it again, this stream was so much fun. 2 hours dissolved by hilarious and cozy conversations and searching for aliens to maybe do things to.

Most of the time i lament that the preshows arent attached to these posted videos, today however... I think thats for the best (or maybe thats just because i was eating at the time Dan was picking through his beard with that pumpkin carving tool Vinny accidentally kneeled on). That said, great stream of real world (though possibly space-faring) trucking, and metaphysical conversation. Kudos beasters

I loved this. I would play any game if I could have conversations like this with my friends...

I used to live in Binghamton and can say we always said "upstate" in reference to ourselves (on the radio/tv they always did call it the Southern Tier, though). Some people have tried telling me that New Paltz and Hudson Valley are in upstate NY, and then you got Central New York more north; I donno what those people called anything north of that. People's definitions are always different, or they just never thought about it, so I just tell people I used to live "upstate" to avoid forcing them into a conversation of definitions.

I love this. Somewhat samey, if Flight Club made its way back somehow I'd be so happy.

my experience having been born in rochester (western NY) lived in canton as a young child and then college kid (the north country) and having been raised in lake george for most of my early life (adirondacks/edge of the capital region) is that when speaking to people not familiar with NY, you would describe yourself as from 'upstate' because it was an easy shorthand for 'not NYC.' but if that person was familiar with the state, you could be more specific knowing they would understand how sprawling but relatively sparsely populated the rest of the state was.

i'm actually heading out to nearish binghamton for opening day on friday. i wish they'd pave 88- its so bad i go out to utica and take the long way. i'm too old to bump along on that decaying road, i'd rather go the long way

@tlchwi02: Trust me I understand the breakdown. I am literally saying I will not entertain anything below Binghamton as upstate New York. Since I am from the Hudson Valley, I base my premise on the idea that there is no fucking way just being north of Yonkers should be considered "upstate". I rest my case.

@ybbaaabby I'm fucking with you, ghosts are fake as hell. The worst part is when you tell people you don't believe in ghosts, and they look at you like YOU'RE the crazy one when they are the ones thinking an invisible person is opening and closing doors.

Not my original thought--- but if ghosts were real, the sides of roads would be terrifying with all the ghosts of dead road kill.
