I looked up the IMDB and the actress did a commercial with John Stamos. All things considered I think the main three actors were trying. Especially the villain / best friend toward the end. Hope the actors all get a small boost of recognition here that helps them elsewhere in their careers.

Don't get me wrong, the game seems really fucking bad. But I do understand why there's no dialogue.

The "no dialogue/subtitles" makes absolutely no sense. The protagonist can understand people just fine. He has full conversations with people!

It's just completely arbitrary. Like we're not allowed to understand things that he clearly understands in the moment, but we can experience not only full flashback memories of his, but full first-hand perspectives of completely different people? There is simply no logic to the way information is handled in this narrative. It's like the "plot cohesion" part of the game was unfinished, like they made the rest of the game pieces and figured they'd just try to wing the "internal logic" part at the end.

The game is truly baffling.

The Quiet Man is one of the worst games I've ever played, and I love it.

By my count, there are 96 stars on the American flag in The Quiet Man. One for each of the 96 states in the Union. I need to know more about this fractured future dystopia that the game takes place in.
