Sweet!

this game creeps me out

Glad to see Bioshock has gone the funky trip hop route with the sequel. Why is there a backing track to the review is what i is saying.

I love watching the Bioshock 2 ad while waiting for my Bioshock 2 video review to load so I can see how good Bioshock 2 is, Bioshock 2.

might grab this.

I think I'm going to wait until the summer to play BioShock 2.
 
There are too many games in the next few months and this just seems so contrived.

good review jeff. although even watching all these clips of the game and good reviews...i still dont want to play bioshock 2. cant put my finger on it

Definitely getting this one. My surround sounds is gonna get the neighbors pissed, and me wetting my pants.

Good video review, enjoyed the in-depth look at both the campaign and MP.

My only problem with Bioshock 2 so far is the thing where you have to protect the little sister from an onslaught of enemies, I hated that part in the first game. 
 
Then again, if she's still a little sister she should be invincible so maybe that's not as bad.

Jeff says Sophia lamb doesn't show up at all in Bioshock 1.  I seem to remember a whole subplot involving her and her creation and care taking of the little sisters.  Am I confused?  I could swear that there was a whole couple of missions around her.

2. Obviously, the game is bad if it needs to promote itself. Only Dragon Age got a full 5 from those that were promoted with a banner here.

I really liked the setting and surroundings of Bioshock 1. Probably one of the best game settings there is... but I just hated playing it. I didn't really like how it controlled or even how enemies looked and animated. I was only about 3 chapters in before I stopped completely.
 
A few of my friends really liked it and recommended I finish it, but I don't get on with it. Sadly that gives me zero interest in Bioshock 2 - despite how cool the surroundings are (although, like Milkman said, the train stuff sounds really weak).

I hope the PC version's graphics textures look better than what we see here.

I'm glad I got lucky with Gamefly on this one.  This does not look like a buy.  I should have only rented the first one, as well.

Just so u know the shoe is on the other foot.  Where as when he was with ummm "another site" he did not own it, where as now he does so having ads and making good reviews would be benifical to the company and him self.  I for one dont think he did this, I REPETE I DONT THINK HE DID.       I just wanted to clear that up that he is in a different postion here compared to back then.  Where u made it sound as if it was the same senario.  Which it is not, as jeff would have a personal benifit of running ads and putting up a good review for a site sponsor.  I REPETE AGAIN I DO NOT THINK HE DID THAT but wanted to clear up what u said. Sounds like the story isn't so good, and story is all I played Bioshock for.  I don't care if they improved the gameplay of Bioshock 2 if the story is just forced.

A very meaty, substantial video review which gave me all the info I needed about the game. Great work, Jeff!

I thought the written review was a little disconnected from the score (the review seemed to make the negatives more blatant then they were). But the video review is much better.
