Alex conquered his devils today. His yellow devils.
There are no words to describe how awesome this is. I am so glad they decided to do it

@vinny Is that a new camera in there, the one doing the shot focused on Alex with you not in it?
@alex So excited to see you go through these. Great idea.
I got the blues

Happy birthday Alex! Don't feel bad about struggling with Iceman. You saved a lot of time by having a boss order strategy, so it all evened out to an average play through time.
Happy Birthday @alex! I'm sure there isn't a greater way to celebrate than to play some classic mega man!
Man. Elec Man stage is one of the best stage themes in all of the Series.
Awesome! More Alex content is always a good thing!
Why does Vinny know so much about Captain N?
but what about The Krion Conquest?
Great idea guys. Looking forward to these.
I was really hoping when Alex mentioned this it would become a reality. I'm happy to see Alex behind the paddle!
Happy birthday, Alex!
Really excited for this new feature.
I'm super excited for this feature! You got this, Alex!
Is the audio out of sync?
Is the audio out of sync?
Just noticed this. For anyone who is watching the download and can change the sync in your video player it's about 0.400s delayed to fix.

Seems like the audio gets further out of sync the deeper it gets into the video

The real Ice Man.
The difficulty curve in this game is insane. That 6 master levels are so easy, then you get to Yellow Devil and things get 10x harder, and then you get to the boss rush before Wiley and then you just cry.
I've only beaten this game using the pause glitch on Yellow Devil and the magnet beam across the Ice Man chasm. Alex is a better Mega Man than me.
Video is a bit glitchy. Maybe the audio sync people mentioned is related.
Very much looking forward to the bombin'!
Audio sync has been a problem in multiple recent GB East livestreams lately. I really hope you guys get that sorted out, because it's heavily distracting and really does make the videos harder to enjoy.
I really hope you guys do MMX, @alex. They're pretty rad and I think it'd be neat seeing you play the series if you haven't been super into it in the past. (I'm more an X guy than a Mega Man guy, though I stop at X5 because after Duff McWhalen it's all downhill.)
Good stuff, looking forward to more!
I'M BOMBIN' I'M BOMBIN' I'M BOMBIN' FOR BLUUUUE!
God that Ice Man level is brutal lol.

As a kid I only had Mega Man 2. I was going to play through all the Mega Man games in collage. I beat the first two (no save states or anything so mega man 1 had to be played in one sitting) but Mega Man 3 had one level that made me give up.
"mega" has lost all meaning after that video.
This is a good series! Happy birthday, @alex
This makes me so happy. Or at least as happy as I am capable of being happy
I never played any Mega Man games as a kid so I didn't even bother trying as an adult. I knew I'd just end up defeated.
I'm so happy they're doing this for a series. Mega Man 2 was the first game I ever had for the NES (my parents didn't get me one of the ones with mario/duck hunt and a zapper for whatever reason). I played 2 and 3 a bunch, though 2 is the only one I'm nostalgic about.
Oddly, my only experience of Mega Man 1 is the gameboy version and even setting aside that I was a kid at the time, that version seems... not good? I only ever remember beating Mega Man 2 once as a kid (that fucking dragon/jumping section in Wily's castle ruined most attempts), but I never even got close to Wiley's castle on that gameboy game.
Should have played Mega Man Powered Up. It's challenge rooms are a nightmare.
Can someone make out what Alex is saying during the show when he mentions the movie he's going to watch...? not sure why but sometimes I can make out what names and places.
they done done it!
There was some file corruption going on in the original posting of this. Uploaded a new version that hopefully fixes all of that. Not sure if the version in the player updates immediately or caches (seemed to be the old one when posting this) but the download version is right and seems good, so I know the proper one is in the system now.
Sorry about the weirdness.
