Y'know... I think I'd rather play Anthem.

I lost it at this comment. I couldn't agree more.

On a scale of 1 to Randy Pitchford, how magical would you say this game is?

An eighteen out of ten, definitely eighteen, nobody look closer at the contents of my USB drive.

This PS4 version looks bad.

I'm having a blast with the game. It's the best-playing Borderlands game. Best boss fights in the series makes farming actually enjoyable. I wish things like the UI were better (why can't I select a mission from the map?!). I think the main antagonists are much less annoying than Handsome Jack was.

The writing sucks, but that's not why I'm here. Just like don't care about poor gameplay in "walking simulators" because i'm there for the story, it's okay to not care that the writing is bad in a loot game. The jokes are still internet-humory, but much less "lol sO raDNdOM" and memey than the previous games. I wish they did more to improve, but if you're here for more BL. This is the best one of those.

@paddles: yea but no one likes the taste of marmite, people who grew up liking it have no taste buds because the marmite destroyed their ability to taste things. This isn't a marmite game, this is a low quality fps that people are rabid fans for the series.

Borderlands 3 is the rick and Morty of video games apparently, some people just don't "get" it (or its because it sucks and they like sucky things, which is more likely).

It's also the Rick and Morty of video games because you can't criticize or point things out without the fandom thinking their opinion matters more, and that their view is the only thing that should exist.

This game is a jenky, buggy piece of shit that doesn't warrant a $60 price tag. The multiplayer experience is pretty bad and gets tiring/tedious after you encounter the same bugs repeatedly. It truly boggles my mind that people will look the other way for the love of nostalgia. If this were put out by EA or any other dev not tied to the BL franchise then pitchforks would be raised over the state of the game.

They could literally release BL2 and slap a 3 on it and people would be eating it up.

I mean... in a way they kinda did.
