Jan, can you do a series where you sneak into the studio and play Kingdom Hearts? Somebody needs to finish that game for GB.

You were a little nervous, which is perfectly understandable; I would certainly be too, and would probably do much worse.

I would be interested in watching a GBA-focused show. Much of the retro-stuff from GB is centered around PC-stuff, and though I personally prefer that, I also really enjoy any console retro-stuff that hasn't already been explored quite well.

The GBA was an important console, for many reasons, and was a curious mix between snes, playstation original and Wii in terms of it being an unusually popular platform for Nintendo at the time, that delivered a lot of high-quality games, while also being plagued by low-effort products/games due to its popularity (in a similar way that the Wii fared).

Most of the GB crew has grown tremendously in terms of being in front of the camera and "performing". If you haven't already, perhaps you can get some shortcut-enabling tips from people like Brad, who used to be incredibly stiff in the Gamespot days, and is now a natural on camera.

To what extent you can pass on useful advice in this manner is hard to tell; perhaps it just comes down to putting in the hours.

But if this is your first "outing", you did well.

I also think it is very easy to imagine that the reception to being on camera is going to be much harsher than how things actually play out.

I find this useful to keep in mind; that literally none of my worst-case-scenarios I imagine has ever happened (so far), and whatever push-back I get when interacting with the public is so tame as to be completely trivial (if not charming, in an odd way, and very easily handled in an appropriate manner).

Also definitely in for more GBA. Much of my appreciation for RPGs and 2D gaming comes from playing GBA, as my first console was an N64. Also Megaman Battle Network 3 is a top 5 GBA game, fight me.

I would go with Game Boy Janvanced... GBJ. Rolls off the tongue a little easier.
