Now I know why when Bungie told the idea for this game to Microsoft they were told to pack there bags and leave. Take care guys we got Halo, don't worry about it. This game just doesn't make sense at all.

Used the Destiny LFG website and found a great group to do the raid for the first time. Took a little over 2 hours and had a blast. Made a couple of new Xbox friends out of it as well. Completely baffled by Bungie's lack of raid matchmaking, but more importantly I realized that they just didn't build a game where you can make new friends :/ But you better hope you have them already.

Looks like they're fighting on Krypton.

Seeing them figuring out the weird stealth and platforming sections of this raid was really fascinating to me, I love the concept of being thrust into an environment where nothing makes any immediate sense and death seems imminent at any moment.

It's just a shame I've never really been into the 'shoot constantly for half an hour' style of gameplay for the actual boss parts. I know, it's an FPS, but... I still feel they could make those bosses more interesting than what they were, where it essentially boiled down to 'be sure to shoot the things that appear and stay in specific formations, anything less than perfect timing will force you to restart the whole thing.'

I think the end of this video is a good summation of Destiny: The mission is over, and no one knows what is going on. "Is there a chest?" "The mission timer is at zero!" Sometimes not knowing what is going on in a game is fun. Sometimes it isn't. Where is that line with Destiny? I still haven't figured it out.

I'm glad Brad is enjoying his time with this game (I think?). :)

This was not fun.

I have to watch these. Me and some friends and GB users tried it last night. Got up to the final boss and couldn't beat him for over 2 hours. Still have to go back.

Did Part 01 of the raid get taken down by accident? I no longer see the video on the site.

This was just a blast to play and easily the most rewarding feeling thing I've done in an FPS game. Watching someone go through it is not the same as playing it.

Also three of my first four drops were all different pieces of raid gear, so yeah took me 1.25 raid tries. Everyone hate me now.

I have no real interest in playing Destiny, but seeing them work together like a well oiled machine at the end was pretty awesome and entertaining.

Not into multiplayer. Not into Destiny. This was bad ass to watch! Congrats and thanks guys!!

Also, this game looks utterly exhausting without any form of a tangible resolution, other than what loot you receive after the end of each match or session.

I still don't know why people think going to middle platform? What we have been doing is have the teleport team come back and throw the shield up at back door, so they never have to move again. The outside team can stay on their pillars and don't have to dick around moving across the room. Also the relic holder can shoot his super at boss, but if he's shielding everyone all the time he can't.

The grenade throwing at the start was a good tip for teleport team. It also great to have a golden gun with you, cause it can one shot oracles. I use my golden gun to shoot last 3 oracles every time so we can get back faster. It also seemed like a mistake that Brad wasn't the first person through the portal every time. He can't shoot and he's going to cleanse on the other side so he should be first one through.

Just tried the Moon Strike mission yesterday. Rated hard for level 10-12. I was 12 with two other 12 and man it wasn't fun at all, too many enemies, respawning too quickly, plus they have way too much health including the final boss, killing one Warlock takes 2-3 clips, even with a Fusion Rifle. It was just frustrating, death after death, and that time we got the boss to 10% it took an hour and we still died because respawn, too many fucking enemies came from nowhere. It's just a mess of running and jumping waiting for a bar to recharge, it is not well designed at all. F this game.

@fpk: Yeah you should wait until you are higher level. The ratings on the "normal" strikes are a bit low. level 13 or 14 would likely make that strike a cake walk.

@fpk: Also, there is a rock in the back left corner of the Phogoth arena that allows you to focus on Phogoth because the adds do not come back there, save for a few acolytes/thralls and one sword knight.

I completed it twice today, it went a lot better, took maybe 30minutes for the whole thing and my teammates werent always dead, I think that was the problem the first time around, they were constantly dead and not focusing on adds. We wiped 5-6 times before I left. Today was 1 wipe on 2 full clear.

I watched all 6+ hours and am now questioning why this was more entertaining than actually playing the damn thing...
