I have a scar in my left eyebrow from when a friend thought his air gun pistol (sort of like an airsoft gun but less soft as they fire lead or copper pellets) was just loaded with air and no pellet and was trying to scare me. He shouts "Hey vanti!" and I look over straight into the barrel and hear the pop of the gun. At first I didn't react much because they'd been running around shooting air at each other before that but when his face suddenly turned from a smile to real serious and I felt blood running down on my eyelid I got a bit weak in the knees. I'm lucky his aim was bad because he was aiming for my eye and if it had hit there instead of the thickest bone in the body it could have done some REAL damage.

The take-away lessons here is that ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED and EVEN AIR GUNS CAN TAKE YOUR EYE OUT
