Gaiden the Ring: Def Jam: Fight for NY

What better way to experience Def Jam: Fight For NY than through the lens of the whitest people in their office building? (I am happy they are playing this game, by the by.)

To this day I'll never understand why Jeff has such a bee in his bonnet with regards to this game. Of all the bs he'll love ironically because of some loose affiliation with hip-hop or wrestling and yet out of all that THIS is the game that he'll go out of his way to bury as some sort of gross misinterpretation of either, as if that's a hill worth dying on.

@sethmode: in June, the first Fast and Furious will be 19 years old. Where are the years going!

This game is kinda great. I would love to play a modern fighting game RPG like this.

Fight for NY might be the best of the Def Jam games but I would rather watch someone play Icon. The combat in this gets very repetitive Icon felt like its own thing. Is it weird that for the longest time, I thought the Def Jam series were rap battle games? Didn't actually think they were about straight up brawling.

This game does seem very awesome though. The talent included is mind blowing. Would love to see more of these games. Really enjoy these types of streams.

Also, hate to be that guy but I like Fight Song too much to not say it: it's not Katy Perry. It's Rachel Platten. I realize no one actually cares and the joke was not about the artist.

When Mike asked Alex what his fight song was, I was really hoping he was going to say Fight Music by D12. Then he said Fight Song and I got excited for a second then realized that was the wrong song name and by Katy Perry lol
