Awesome. I'm ready for quality GBW content. Demo Derby is one of my favorite features on the site. Demo disks are a pretty cool memory I have from the PS1, PS2, and Dreamcast era.

New Demo Derby, new Home Game, didn't even have to use my AK... today's a good day.

I'm excited for this video, but whose PS3 is this? Why are their recently installed games The Simpsons Arcade Game, Stacking, and that bad version of Tetris? What a weird selection of titles. They should do a feature where they just boot up an old console and play the last few arcade/PSN games loaded up on that console.

There is a lot of quidditch lore in HP and there is also a standalone book about the history of quidditch. I'm really looking forward to the inevitable quidditch movie.

Maybe just something collecting dust in the Gamespot offices, seeing how it's one of the launch models that can run PS2 discs.

Also I was way more hyped for this than Yakuza part 2. Pretty good disc, but it kinda lacked the charm (and "charm") of the PS1 era discs. Brad's a good fit.

Oh, and "Harry Potter is TALKING TO ME! Mom!" had me in tears.

As someone who watched a full let's play of LoI, it actually seems to be a decent game, at least compared to the horrors of the other castlevanias. The exploration of the castle is most similar to the Igavania style of gameplay (abeit much more linear), the combat can be fun with the right skills, and there's enough variation to make up for the game. Not exactly Vinnyvania material, but I could see people liking it.

What was the PS1 firefighter game that looked kind of cartoony?

I miss the late 90s-00s era of groovy ass jazz that felt like it was in every non-RPG outta Japan.

I'm glad that they kept running with a 3 man team for these.

While watching this video I would like to thank the Giant Bomb windows store app which let me watch this and be able to crop out the black bars on my secondary 4:3 monitor.

There was a whole feature on that Starsky and Hutch tips girl on a previous demo disk wasn't there. Something like what it's really like to be a game tester???

Bah, I think Jeff skipped over the Quidditch World Cup trailer, shame, it's actually pretty cool.

The game wasn't bad either, albeit shallow.

I begged my mom to get me the full game because that demo was so good.

It was not a good game.
