Thanks for taking so much time to make sure you could do this quick look well! I think it turned out great!

This is great but that fake old lady gets real annoying.

If they can't adapt the controls to PC that is a failing on behalf of the developer - not the medium, where there is no reason someone in 2020 couldn't get this thing to work on a PC with just as good controls as the PS 4 version.

Multiple reviews have pointed out the controls kinda suck anyways, so why are people defending them like they are baby yodas?

@deathmetaldan: Id suspect the skills from dreams do carry over to "real stuff" though. I believe there've been multiple people hired as gamedevs because of them making good little big planet levels without further experience in gamedevelopement (of the top of my head I can only think of the snake pass dude, but I believe there were more) . And little big planet is even way simpler than dreams.

This was a great way to show how good the creation tools are. Just let abby yell stuff and Vinny managed to make most of it relatively easy!

I played cod at afriends house on ps4 with a mouse and keybord so you might be able to do the same.

Oh, you're going to want to fill out forms I-765 and I-821D for that.

If Vinny sticks with this I would love another video like this. Reminds me of the video they did with... shit can't remember her name, but she created a game while Dan shouted out dumb game ideas to include.

My mouth dropped at that Android, holy shit, who are these people making these amazing things? Are they all really using PS4 controllers or is there some way to use other inputs that have more accuracy?

Every second I see of this makes me more and more curious and leaves me with more questions. I have no consoles, just PC but I am considering a PS4 for Dreams (and Spiderman).

The main issue most regular users who make something in any creative space is they have no way to showcase their work, Giant Bomb obviously doesn't have his issue.

Vinny and Abby are such a powerful combination in game development.

Great quicklook, bless Vinny for learning the tools beforehand. Also respect to the person that made that old lady sound. That was way longer than i expected :D

And yeah, i can see this eventually work with all kinds of VR applications, but creating a non-vr PC version of this seems counterproductive given that so much work was put into figuring out how to create a UI and tools that are suitable for a controller or motion controllers. If they had to revert that back to a PC interface, they end up asking similar questions as a ton of other applications have asked themselves for decades. You'd pretty much get a similar interface as programs like Blender, Unity , Unreal already have and the unique selling point of dreams gets greatly reduced.

I know I'm late to the party, but this has been one of my favorite QLs in a good while. Thank you Vinny for putting in the time to learn and showing a passion for it and thank you Abby for being a good sport and someone to bounce ideas with. This was really fascinating and fun to watch you guys put together the leg game.

I wouldn't expect Spanish Imp Quests in 'em.

I wonder just how big a player can make the worlds, something the size of Skyrim or the size of a level in Super Mario Odyssey.
