I just don't see how Batman would be able to survive Superman's atmosphere punch... anyways I hope Captain Marvel makes the cut.

I fuckin' LOVE Ed Boon. The guy's never without that big, goofy grin, he's about as open as anyone in the industry that isn't named David Jaffe, and he's willing to have fun with the GB guys (not so much in this video, but last year when they saw him so many times that he interviewed Jeff and Brad at one point).

Since Guilty Gear has apparently lost its way, I will happily accept Netherrealm as the champions of of the single-player content fighting game! This sounds AWESOME.

I'd say Warren Spector deserves a spot on that list as well. The four most important dudes video game people are at least six people!

I would say in Western gaming... but even then it's hard to place importance because there's others that could be in the top 4.

Warren Spector and Peter Molyneux are pretty important too. I would slot them in as number 5 and 6.

EDIT: Also Miyamoto is pretty important too, what with creating the first very popular home video games and all.

Well, I don't see how Nathan Drake can survive getting shot a bunch of times and regenerate his health. And he isn't even superhero! You gotta suspend your disbelief for the sake of the game.

Ed Boon is the best.

You wouldn't imagine that the man behind one of the most violent and controversial franchise in history is also one the classiest person in the industry.

No disrespect to Ed Boon, but yeah, I can think of some other important dudes, Where is Kamiya? Mikami? Kojima? Molyneux, Garriot? I'd say Street Fighter is more influential than MK, MK was just kind of violent.

Man I love Ed Boon.

I'd put Bleszinski on your influential designers list, as probably a lot of him goes into UE, and soooo many games use that engine

I love seeing Jeff talk to Ed Boon and Tony Hawk because you almost see a couple chinks in Jeff's reporter armor. You can see how stoked he is.

@ThePhantomStranger: Puzzle Kombat, which was a bonus feature in Deception and also was included in UMK3 on DS.

There was also Motor Kombat (a kart racing game in Armageddon) and Chess Kombat in Deception.

Soooo excited for this games story mode. MK9's story was second to none, and that was for a bunch of characters I didn't care about. Now you have characters that I do know, and Gray and Palmiotti are helping write it? YES NOW AND PLENTY PLEASE!

Were the Hawkman and "fuck this place" things in this video and I just missed them, or did they happen somewhere else? If somewhere else, would you mind pointing me too them? Thanks.

Also, Ed Boon. What a great guy.
