Looks much better than I expected. Tomb Raider is a franchise I've always wished was worth its name.

This, 100%. It is my biggest issue with the franchise these days. The game play mechanics in this newest iteration have just strayed so far from the original that it is unrecognizable as Tomb Raider. And the fact that the developer just makes buggy crap, well, I feel bad for a character such as Lara, deserving of a good developer to make a game worthy of her but getting a mediocre one. There's so many fantastic studios in the U.K. I think they just need to jump developers again, to a bankable AAA company who will make a Tomb Raider that defines the series all over again.
