YES. Giantbomb talk about their love of ape escape a lot, but there's barely any of it played.

the soundtrack to Ape Escape 1 is one of the best video game soundtracks of all time, check out Dark Ruins and Cryptic Relics. It's sad that Ape Escape 2 is the only one available on the PS store and it doesn't have Soichi Terada doing soundtrack

Holy shit, i’ve been waiting for this.

Ape Escape 1 and 2 are some of my favorite games of their generations. It's just easy to forget about them since the series has been dormant for such a long time now.

Man this game is such a gem. Love the voice acting, the wide variety of stuff (ROBOTS, BOSSES, RC CARS, JETSKI) and just how great the music & look are. Also some neat gameplay ideas.

I love the cheesy puns they came up with for the monkeys' names, like "Tomkey Cruise."

Wait, how did Jan end up with the European dub of the game?

The Eurodubs are pretty fun as it's so rare for a game to have British VO, but the American dub of Ape Escape 2 includes the entire cast of Pokemon. You really missed out here, @janman.

@axersia: For whatever reason, the PS4 version of AE2 on the US PSN is the PAL version. No idea why, though.

Hey Jan, have you considered any of the Digimon World games? The first one on PS1 is pretty great, it's basically a battle tomogochi RPG!

Coincidentally, I just started playing this a few days ago. PROTIP: You can rotate the camera with the d-pad. I think it is also inverted tho. Drives me bananas. I don't know if I will finish this game, just because of the controls.

@axersia: It's the version available on PS4 in the US.

@biggnife: They've done this because it's easier to have 1 version globally, and in a sense the European version has more features than the NA version because it has more language options, so they picked that one.
