A full playthrough of DK64 would have been mostly boring parts and could only service as a decent podcast at best. All 8 episodes of this were fantastic, a rare let's play where I actually gave it my full attention rather than put it on my second screen while I play something else, occasionally looking over when I hear someone shout or laugh. Thanks for the laughs everyone.

Real talk, compare this series to anything GB West is doing.

The zoom-in on Dan's mouth really broke me.

This was what it was, but I wish they had actually played some more of the game. They went in with an awful attitude about the game going in and didn't pay attention to barely anything the entire time. Yes DK64 is flawed, but not nearly to the extent they were acting it was.

Loved this series, so much fun!

I think I remember that they skipped Windows 9 because programs did a search for "Windows 9" to see if they were run on Windows 95 or 98 so it would have had bad consequences with the new OS.

Did I miss it, or did Dan not put in his six bananas for a tripler at the beginning? Even the math he does directly after buying it of having to only collect 5 bananas for a total of 15 banana runts doesn’t factor him paying, because he had 285 at the start.

Goddamn Tokyo Banana, everyone always asks for it whenever I go to Tokyo and there are so many better souvenir sweets. I mean, it makes sense for this feature, but within Japan the obsession is just odd.

The caramelly Tokyo Banana cakes are the best. My favorite random Japan tourist spot packaged desserts are the maple pancake sandwiches. Pair that with a warm hokkaido milk. Damnit now I'm looking at flights.

Even just Dan opening that shop deserves an award. All the technical hiccups just added to it. Also, man alive does DK64 suck ass. Terrible game from what I saw. Maybe the series was better for it. It added to the humour. Round of applause to everyone.

A bottle of beer, a shot, and a properly-poured glass of wine are all equivalent. Solo cups have markings on them for these measurement. All alcohol gets you drunk the same way, and your friend who always gets naked isn't doing it because of tequila, they're doing it because they did 87 shots in 4 minutes and now you have to put their clothes on and clean their puke off of the bathroom floor.

This feature was an unmitigated disaster from start to finish. I loved every minute.

Weird. Watching 3 people bully and screw over their co-worker isn't fun to watch.

Mike, I had the same rule growing up! It started out as no violent games, then as I got older: no shooters, then no shooters against humans, then no shooters against humans if there was blood/gore. This led me to seek out M-rated games with blood toggles, like Hitman 2, XIII, and Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.

These last two episodes with everyone against Dan wasn't that great to watch on top of an already rough series, it all just felt mean spirited.

@peanutbuttersadness: You did not miss it. I noticed too. So if he removed the 6, it would mean he needed 21 bananas. He got 3 bananas from Abby's wheel spin. He got another 15 from the bet with Vinny on the DK game. Which means he would have been 3 bananas short of 300 at 297 total bananas.

This has been one of my favourite GB series of all time. I cannot wait for a replacement with the same energy.

I can’t believe there are people saying they didn’t give it time as if this game is multi layered.
