I wonder what was going on in Vinny’s head every time he hit a powered track that wasn’t powered and just ignored it.

In the nether moving horizontally one block counts as moving eight blocks in the overworld. When a portal is created it searches the destination coordinates to determine if it should link to an existing one or create a new one, within 128 blocks if going to the nether or within 1024 blocks if going to the overworld.

Basically Vinny's house actually isn't far enough away.

It's funny hearing Jeff and Brad whine about not wanting to play Minecraft without the graphics mods, I'm the same way but I'm on the bedrock RTX beta with a couple texture packs, I'm literally shocked how bad it looks when I turn it off in my world. I can't go back to normal Minecraft ever again lol.

Also I don't know why they don't play the bedrock edition, its way easier to get the multiplayer goes, just get a realm and your set, its always open and it doesn't strain someones pc and you don't have to jump through the hoops like you do on java. The performance is better and the host still has god powers like in Java.

I'm afraid to ever install mods because then I'll never go back!

Also, I vote the removal of Brad's overlord powers. If you die in lava, your stuff dies in lava!

@schindigg: I think there are more resources on Java, but I think they considered it. Bedrock still has a reputation for being buggy though, and at this point, they'd have to abandon a whole lot of work first. Plus, the servers aren't quite as feature robust. But.. yea.. consider their use case, I think there might have been some big benefits to doing Bedrock. Oh well.

I think it's just such a shame that they spawned directly into such a HUGE basalt delta lol. It's kind of crazy.

Extra bummer considering Abby’s stream was cut short, Jan’s out, and Jeff’s gameplay has the overlay.

I can't be the only one concerned at Vinny's plan to use the Webway to get around instead of portals or long shleps.

@aistan: That said, if they were to temporarily disable the current portal from the Nether side, then attempt to enter the Nether from the new portal on the "earth" side, it would create a new portal in the Nether at its correct location. Then they could re-activate the original portal and all would work correctly.

@cyrribrae: Agree that Java may have more overall possibilities for more seasoned players but like you said for their use case Bedrock would be totally fine and again no one has to host the server plus you get better render distances. And as far as buggy-ness it's been relatively good for me but granted im playing the RTX beta so I know what to expect on that front. And oh god yes they got unlucky spawning in that basalt delta lol, i recently installed the Java version so i could check out the nether update and yes some of the biomes were HUGE, way bigger than i expected. But once you start to see other biomes it really makes the nether come alive and its pretty awesome.

Some types of pigs are smart. The kind you eat, along with with cows and chickens, are beyond dumb.
