Why does it seem that no one in NY has a washing machine? Is it a space problem?

The Labo VR kit needs to have the controllers in the cardboard thingie because they have the cameras inside them. If you held them in your hands there would literally be no way for it to track your head at all.

From what I've heard from VR enthusiasts, it's surprisingly capable and does the thing it sets out to do. Still though, this is definitely not something you're going to use for ages. Also, you can just load up your saves in Zelda and play it, no minigames. Mario is a series of minigames though.

Labo VR is a fantastic intro to VR for people. It's close to infinitely better than google cardboard eventhough that's what it gets (unjustly) compared to.

@mrfluke: Mia is, like, 30% cleavage.

When a woman says a character is overly sexual, what they mean is that the character just seems to exist in her form as a means to excite men. Not that hard to understand.

That's a over exaggeration, her cleavage is only truly visible when becoming Pearl and Maya, but its never played up in any sexual form in any of the dialogue with her or in the story in the entire 1st trilogy of games she's in. (there IS a character you interrogate in the 1st game that shows herself off in that sort of manner, but its played up more for satire than to pander to male audiences i thought)

Again, i dont wanna start anything about this, i just have a different perspective on it, NOT just cause of course, im a guy and im from the carribbean and grew up there where the culture is very different, i can understand she's trying to read into author intent of "oh the woman character is more exposed and that's on purpose to appeal to male players" but i just don't think that's the case with the Ace Attorney series.

All my position on this matter is is that "American women seem very conservative when it comes to design of characters, in contrast to women from Brazil and Russia and Japan who cosplay these designs and find them attractive in their own right otherwise they would'nt be clicking with the characters and cosplaying those designs i think"

One of Abby's criticisms on Nier was 2b's design, what do you say to the women who cosplay 2b and love that character, and even cosplay 2b in more exposed forms being ero-cosplay/boudoir models, i don't see their points being invalidated. (and i understand that doesn't invalidate her point of "Not" liking the design either)

i guess that's what hard to understand is the culture difference i guess.

@mrfluke: Assuming you're European, you got boobs and we got guns. That's the long and short of it.

I wish I was European...

America has female cosplayers as well, so if that is the crux of your American women are more conservative argument, you may want to go back to the drawing board.

@mrfluke: I mean, I'm someone who uh, 'appreciates', sexy women in anime and video games, but I think more than that there's sort of a chauvanistic, almost slightly misogynistic vibe in the PW trilogy that I found kinda off-putting. Like Buttz's gf being a gold-digger, for example. Not saying those archetypes can't be used but it stood out against how like, bright and happy so much of the setting is.

@mrflukeAt any rate, she's not saying the sexualized characters shouldn't necessarily exist, just that she finds them off-putting, which is a perfectly legitimate impression to have.

What's the video Vinny references with Dan and the government? I've not heard of this.

That sounded confusing in the context of what they were talking about, its not a video of Dan himself that was shown, it was when Donald Trump tried to push the "video games are what is causing mass shootings" shit to appease his lobbies 2 years ago.. And one of the violent images they showed in their video was from one of Dan's Quicklooks of Mortal Kombat or Injustice or something.

Yes, especially super expensive cities like NYC and San Francisco. But Ive rented in many apartments from small towns to medium cities, now I'm in Austin TX, and Ive only once even had a hook up in my apartment (I dint buy a machine). Unless you rent a house, most apartment buildings have laundry rooms or you go to a laundry-mat in the USA. Ive only had one friend ever who rented in a fancy building who had a built in washer/dryer combo in his unit.

JEANS: The tiny little pocket inside a pocket is actually for watches, designed for cowboys in the 1800s.

It says on the Levi Strauss website, "Originally included as protection for pocket watches, thus the name, this extra pouch has served many functions, evident in its many titles: frontier pocket, condom pocket, coin pocket, match pocket and ticket pocket, to name a few."

@squidracerx: oh! Thank you so much, I thought there was some other Dan video out there that I hadn't seen that somehow made national news.

Looking forward to the ROB the Robot accessory that comes with my Labo VR so it can hold my joycons while I smash the screen against my face.
