Quickly about area code numbering and why NYC is 212 and LA was 213. It all goes back to rotary phones. The more "important" cities were given area codes with lower number digits because it would be shorter to dial on a rotary phone. Spoken from someone who grew up in Riverside, CA and had the 909 area code.

For the same reason, USA's emergency number is 911 because 9 would be the longest to dial (other than 0 for operator) as the first number and you would need to commit instead of a misdial but 1-1 would be immediate since you're probably calling for an emergency and don't want to wait long for the rotary dial to finish rotating.

This is the perfect Giant Bomb crew right here. Sad that we only get to experience it about twice a year when the crews get together, but man does it feel good when they do.

I honestly gleamed with huge grin when I heard Drew's voice. The man is a national treasure and, as someone who never played Flight Simulator or any Simulation, can't wait for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Hope i get used to its complexity.

So with Jeff B on the whole jumping ahead too much in tech. I don't even have 4k TV, does anyone have an 8k? Is that possible yet? How many people even have 8k monitors? The next generation of consoles will have 8k support but who's gonna have a TV that does 8k until the generation is almost over. We'll be lucky if everyone has a 4k TV by the middle of it.

Didn't know Bakalar's mom was sick. Hope it's not to serious.
