@knuckleberry: They weren't knowingly giving her a platform you do realize that right, and there was nothing said during that episode remotely close to what her allegations are about. Cut the cancel culture crap. The world will be okay with the episode staying up, I just hope you will be too.

@schindigg: I know it wasn't knowing. I'm not really upset about that. And I'm not mad at abby. This is a site issue.

There should have already been a process to screen for this, especially after they already said there would be.

And it's not about being "okay" it's about trying to make things better in whatever small way. The response to this situation should have been better.

@azman: maybe I’m misreading your comment, but Jeff directly wrote up a thing on Twitter that he regretted ever having him on, and a few beastcasts back they openly addressed regretting ever having Max temkin on, and they said beyond the times he appeared on the site; they were never really “friends” with him

I think Abby did a great job letting everyone know about character issues with a previous guest and apologizing. With that being said I am real tired of all the people demanding that the episode be taken down.

We shouldn't remove all content from the internet that includes those who have said or done unsavory things. There are always going to be people in the world that don't agree with your worldview and share your values. If they are featured spreading hate and fanning the flames of bigotry then that is a different story.

This is not fair to others who work or star along side one of these individuals to just lose a body of work because someone else did something bad. I believe that companies should instead release a statement about said person and clarifying that they do not condone or share the actions/views of this individual.
