As someone who played bugdom back in the day, it was preinstalled on those early macs with the clear color cases, the elementary school i was at had it. I somehow erased the mouse movement out of my memory.

This is utterly glorious, and I really need to go back and revisit the old EL videos now if all of them are this insane

God the Bugdom music is so bad and loops like every thirty seconds. It's brutal.

Edit: Okay, so they're saying spiders aren't bugs. Does the term "bug" only apply to insects then? I thought it was like a broader term for anything like an insect or a spider.

"bug" is indeed a catch-all term. I think most people agree any land-based arthropod is a bug. So stuff like insects, spiders, scorpions, centipedes and woodlice are bugs.

Soft bodied invertebrates are little trickier. Are slugs and snails bugs? What about worms?

The music in Bugdom is giving me some Garfield flashbacks.

Missed the stream, but my favorite bug fact is that there are moths that are only found on sloths. They're called sloth moths.
