Game of the Year 2010: Alex's Top 10

Great list, Alex!  Cheers!

Interesting list, these Giant Bomb videos are looking more and more professional and high-tech, so major props to Drew, Vinny and the other members of the video crew. Good job!

LOVE the video design of this. The Lucha-Bit motion, the font, the colours, the layout, and the way the bars raise and lower as the numbers change through the list is fantastic. Well done to everyone involved in the production of this, because it's simply brilliant.

Bold choices and all the more valid for it. Though I enjoyed Limbo, I couldn't ever put it at number one simply because of it's brevity more than anything else. Though it was both unique and almost "perfect", stacked up against triple A industry titles it's still a mere footnote.

Unconventional list, I like it. His choice for #1 isn't what I would pick, but at least it was unusual.

Damn fine video. And yeah, now I want to play Limbo.

Wow the editing is outstanding, I am very impressed.

For me it would be more PC games but that's just because I don't have any of the latest consoles. Whenever I make a top list it's usually with the games I've played as it's hard to judge something you haven't played.
 
Looking forward to the next lists :) (might be some must-buy games on that I missed)

Really awesome list. While I haven't even considered what'd be my top 10 for this year, I really dig Alex's choices. I only just got Risk: Factions in the XBL sale and I spent all Christmas morning playing it. 

Ooh, I really like the minimalist design on the background and such.  Also a nice touch using the faux-kinect graphics.

Great List Alex, glad to downloadable games getting nods on your list.

GTAIV did Cops n' Robbers really well, though I haven't played Need for Speed: HP.

Nice to see the GotY videos finally coming up.  I can't say I agree with most of Mr. Navarro's picks, but I respect them all the same.

I'm really digging the clean aesthetic design of the GOTY videos. They are so fucking awesome.

Why the hell is the video player so broken for me?  It always breaks a few minutes in.

I can't say I liked Limbo all that much: I thought it was a game that put aesthetics before other, more important facets. 
 
Nonetheless, a great list here Alex; great to see some lesser-known games taking higher rankings.

No Red Dead or Mass Effect?! Gonna assume Alex didn't play them.

Great list, some very unobvious choices. But i still don't understand why people like Limbo so much.
