Playdate: Crusader Kings II

@austin_walker Please do more Crusader Kings play dates! I've always respected these games from a distance and seeing you guys play for a while has almost pushed me to play a style of game that I wouldn't normally consider.

I'm sure others have said something similar, but the only issue I had was with the text size. I watch GB content in couch/TV mode, so if there's any way to make the text larger that'd be fantastic. Even if you can't find a way to do that, I'm SO IN for more of this!

Finally finished the 2nd half of the video. Good showing. I'd love to see more of this.

Quick note on mercenaries — I like to use them to storm siege. They do use a lot of units, but they're not your units, and you can take over territories quicker this way. This is especially useful if you can only afford them for a short time.

Mercenaries also start with low morale. This will build up over time as you pay them, but they can lose battles against even odds or even slightly in their favor due to low morale. If you have a lot of cash, it's sometimes worth it to let morale build up before invading. Sometimes.

I also like how Norway took over England in this playthrough. It happens, but it's still rare enough that it's fun to see.

really love watching this game played , remember watching streamfriends play it about a yr ago n been wanting to see more so this fresh start here was nice.

This was so good. More Crusader Kings please! I played the game once and stopped shortly afterwards; it is so complex and detailed that I felt swamped by it. A fantastic Grand Strategy game though.

This is one of the only strategy games that I've had fun watching someone else play it. I want some more!

Ck 2 is my most played game on Steam. It's my warm blanket that I always reinstall when I have nothing else. Just seeing this video REALLY makes me want to reinstall it right now.
