Can't wait to watch. Already finished it, but couldn't make it live.

Vinny is trying to skip everything to lessen the impact.

I was a bit disappointed at how short the session was, but I'm still glad to see the guys play through this fantastic game! :D

Geez, remember at the tail end of episode 2 when Vinny said "man..I hope this doesn't get super dark".

This series led me to order the Collectors Edition for PS4 coming out in January. DONTNOD deserve every penny.

Max's face pretty much sums up mine when I played this episode.

Jeeze, game. I know I beat you already, but even revisiting here, you take it out of me.

I wish you guys had finished the episode in one sitting! Try not to wait too long before wrapping it up, things are really gaining momentum now.

This game is pretty dark.

I would love to see the GBeast get through Episode 4 before the break. It might be cutting it too short, but it would be awesome if they finish the game in 2015.

This was a tough one for me, but that's probably a sign that its effective storytelling.

@austin_walker One thing I find interesting though I agree they didn't do a good job humanizing stepdouche he IS right that a cancer exists at the school and IF he wasn't the kind of surveillance person he is Chloe and Max would have had no chance at putting things together. That bit makes you think a little. Also as someone who is somewhat religious, though not as much as the character here though I know people like her, it is correct that you believe in redemption but that evil does still exist (if the evil is an actual outside force or more a chosen ignorance of connection to good force is debatable) there are those that harbor true love and believe in redemption for everyone (they are usually the anti-death penalty religious types) but they are few and far between.

This game is giving me the feels. Also this is amazing

They better have brought this up during GOTY discussion. I cried during the Chloe bit. I'm a sucker for stories about losing a best friend.

I listen to last weeks beast cast today and I want to be sure that I am posting the positive comments that I feel. I love the way you collaborate on this game and I appreciate your sticking with it.

So what happens if you "refuse" in THE choice? I imagine the game will still result in what happen at the end of this episode like the crew are saying from a game budget and making perspective.

Hang on everyone let's just hear out the argument for paralyzed Chloe. I mean her dad's alive and she hates "hella".

And Max calls the Scrubjay eggs Blue Jay eggs. That's it, we're going back to paralyzed world!

Last time they said they won't be able to finish the episode in one go, so I feel alright watching it now, but I think I'm going to abstain until I finish it myself. Although from all the reviews and impressions, it appears that Max's journey will become darker as time goes on. I don't see a possibility that doesn't end with her having to sacrifice herself (or a bunch of her friends). Maybe it ends with her being alone, in a wheelchair, physically and mentally handicapped, but completely aware what she was before and she did, had to do, as she sits staring at a blank wall.

That's fucked up.

EDIT: I get that they play this game once every two weeks and they have other shit going on, but goddammit, is it that hard to internalize names and house layouts? If they were playing this episodically, it would have been months between episodes. What then?

I am thankful for GBEast existing and I am thankful that you guys played this game. I certainly hope it got some GOTY mention. There may be contention regarding the split but I'm beyond pleasantly surprised with the content you guys put out. It's some of my favorite, especially the perfect-blend-of-absurd-and-serious Beastcast (like @dovah said). Keep doing what you do.

I couldn't stop Kate during the ending to episode 2 when I played it on PS4 earlier this year, so I didn't get to see the hospital sequence. It's a good pick-me-up after the Chloe dilemma.

Playing Beyond Two Souls atm and I like LiS away better even tho I haven't played it...

I'm so glad you guys carried on with this. As another poster said, given your recent discussion on the Beast Cast about receiving positive feedback I figured I'd leave you some (even though I don't have anything especially insightful to say).

I'm really enjoying playing ahead a little and then watching you guys replay the same thing. Even though most of our decisions have been the same it's really adding a lot just hearing your comments and thoughts about the game as you play. It adds another level of appreciation to the game for me when after an awesome moment I think "I can't wait til the GBE guys see this", and then look forward to your reactions. So yeah, thanks for some awesome premium content. I think it's the best thing on this site at the moment.

Also, your Until Dawn playthrough was awesome too.

Yup, that moment still got to me. It was gut-wrenching when I had to make that choice in my own playthrough but it's great to see that it still gives me a dropkick to the heart watching the Beast crew play through it.

I'm so glad they're playing through this. I wasn't expecting another episode until after the New Year.
