Awww Yisss. I assume "Aww Yiss" is from the Beastcast. I am behind like 10 weeks on those, but I see people post it a lot so now I am doing it too.

This is great and oddly soothing. I feel like Vinny should have a jeweler's loupe for this.

Alex playing Guitar Hero is always going to make a good stream.

And coins of course. I look forward to the moment Vinny tells Alex he's been sitting on millions of dollars in rare coins.

This is like one of those shows where they open some mystery safe. It's a nail biter even though you know you'll be left disappointed.

I LOVED this stream! Coins are fascinating and Guitar Hero 2 was my big "Music rhythm" game back in the day. Also realizing that it is 10 years old made me feel really old. Thanks Beast Boys! <3

@deadstar: One of the CBSi engineers on UPF said that the embiggen function has been temporarily retired, but that it will return at a later date.

Futaba said "Aw Yiss" in persona 5 and I was surprised to realize how big that has gotten. I remember it from HAV and then it started appearing in general popular lexicon eventually.

I played the hell out of GH2, RB2 I played more because of the drums and just the extensive DLC release, but I put in easily 4 to 5 hours average a day for like 7 months into GH2, it was all I did between June 2007 and December 2007. I remember having to force myself to play through Halo 3 and COD4 so I could get back to trying to gold star all the songs.

Secret funniest songs to play is the bass line for John the Fisherman. Sadly the only way to play it solo is in the practice section but tons a fun to play. Since the game game out Free Bird has been my favorite song ever, never been topped in almost 10 years, kinda crazy now that I think about it...

EDIT: Pro tip - input the menu code to speed up the highway, also increases the timing window for HO/PO and once you adjust to the speed (at least for me) made it easier to decipher the notes because there were larger gaps between them. Elevated my gameplay and made it easier to go back to GH2 after newer games came out.

I got into Guitar Hero to the point that I was one of those people that modded a PS2 so I could download people's custom versions of the game. The process to mod Guitar Hero was completely insane and it took so long to replace all of the songs

@nightriff: I guess I'm speaking in terms of how loosely this Playdate seems to be formatted; it's literally somebody showing off a coin collection while somebody else plays Guitar Hero II. That rules.

It's weird because UPF's looseness is kind of the premise of the whole thing, but it feels more... rigid now? It's still a show about the duders showing whatever they want to show, but it can feel like they're going through the motions sometimes.

(The episodes like the one with Dan playing DDR while the others try to build a computer, for example, are a nice change of pace from the usual formula.)

@jibanyan: I haven't been a fan of UPF since Vinny left. The looseness left to NY with him. Occasionally they have a good one and I check it out, but that is few and far between. For a show with "Unprofessional" in the title, it has felt like the most straight forward, most predictable show they have ever done. In a weird way, the few Professional Wednesday shows we got were more entertaining and looser than UPF the past 3 years.

Dudes! This whole thing is super fun! I'm not even done watching, and I felt compelled to comment and let you know how much I'm enjoying this.

Next up: Vinny broadcasts his first HAM radio broadcast out over the internet while Alex does a full playthrough of Thumper in VR.

Totally agree. Those are cool moments. This show was really great and interesting. The East guys are really rocking it. I hope west gets some new hires soon because they need fun new content badly.

This is really good. I love Vinny's enthusiasm for curious coins and their odd histories. Alex's interjections while Guitar Heroing are dry, yet playful.

I had an odd assortment of coins when I was a child, including a 2-cent piece. As a kid, they were like pirate treasure to me. I haven't given them much thought nowadays, but they might be worth a few bucks.
