So much gold. Thanks for playing this whole game! I appreciate that sometimes Vinny and Co wants to jump around with these kind of FMV game play through stuff but there's a lot to be said to seeing one through to the finish.

The bad guy ended up being a staircase.

So I looked up the actress who played Katherine (Beth Tegarden) to see if she was in anything else. It turns out she died in 2014 at 49 years old. I can't seem to find a cause of death, but it sounds like she may have committed suicide. According to a friend, she "was not terribly happy here on Earth." RIP, Beth, thanks for a memorable performance.

Wow, where'd that David Cage burn come from? I thought people liked that hack's games. Not that I don't appreciate it, they're about on par with TLC.

Kathryn suggests to Allison at some point later on that she can take Jodie (the doll at that point) for a walk in her wheelchair. The co-worker just assumed that they'd adopted another child.

@kevinski: The coworker also makes a note that the child was special needs, a plot point which apparently goes nowhere.

The man who directed this game directed the 2009 Ghostbusters game. Also, the guys needs to play Point of View, one of their other games.

wow, this game is incredible graphic...like, I mean its not Hustlers porn but its at least Playboy levels which surprised me. My wife walked in during the scene where his wife is wearing the tank top and is..."cold" and she asked if they were "riffing" on a porno. :| I think that's a little telling.

Thanks for playing through this whole...game? It certainly was an experience. This last episode in particular really went off the rails and was hilarious from front to back. There is an inkling of a good idea in the whole "do psych tests and they influence your game" mechanic (as proven by Silent Hill: Shattered Memories), but this game whiffs on that pretty bad. Although admittedly, a lot of the questions/answers made me laugh (someone must have had a fun time putting that portion together).

The whole Michael v. Kathryn thing in this game seems so misguided, both of them seem like pretty awful individuals. Reading in the comments that this is based on a book makes me wonder how awful the writing in that must have been.

Loved that ending (you know the one), also the way the stream ended.

Someone's gotta explain how the heck any of those answers contribute to the endings.

This game was friggin' amazing. FMV is great. The 90s were great.

It was a great dynamic to have all the focus be on the wife's psychological trauma when the dude seemed like he had some kind of PTSD and a sex addiction on top of whatever childhood issues he had. It's also great that nobody really seemed to notice and bagged on the character for being a prick while complaining about the game's lack of sensitivity. It had too many self-aware moments to not know what it was doing, even if it did a lot of it poorly.

It's too bad the execution kind of fell flat on just about every level, but they had an idea and it seemed like they were really trying to make something interesting here. In an industry where most companies can't afford to take chances and would rather just copy each other in mediocrity, I really appreciate this hot mess.

Really loved this feature all the way throughout but man Alex got my last nerve in this episode. Would still love to see more like this though, maybe they could do a run of Phantasmagoria next, its one of the few CDROM-FMV games i really remember playing back in the mid 90's lol

Even though it was a bit bizarre, and also kind of disconnected to how and what (though not why), I liked the last ending. Michael and Allison were back together as a thing, and there was even a sense of fitting natural justice. Not that it wasn't nutso and outright nope....

Just finally finished watching this tonight because the video has player had problems, and appropriately finished some left over pizza.

I'd really like to see them go through the Ripper. I've seen the 'Random PC Game' episode of it and would love to see more of it. Same with Noctropolis, please continue. :)

It's such a GORGEOUS trainwreck on the level of "The Room" (the movie, not the game) or the Star Wars Holiday Special that it's IMPOSSIBLE to turn away from.
