Hey @vinnie could you do the Friday play dates half an hour to an hour earlier? Two hours before UPF is too short of a time window and the last few felt rushed because you were so concerned about finishing up on time to not delay the west coast stream.

Ok so:

This game is art. Also it’s Art. Holy hell, I literally started watching GB because of Jeff’s backstory and their collective knowledge of the industry, but with this they have achieved the Vinny singularity, we have on our hands bioforge 2.0 (at least).

Pleeeeeease do a long play of this, it’s the perfect ratio of legitimate obscure time capsule coupled with Beastcoast sensibilities!

This was fantastic. I bet you could get a lot more out of this game.

What an absolute delight. As so much of the industry is built on nostalgia, I rarely ever feel that games are time capsules (at least from a software or gameplay perspective). Older styles of graphics, sound and gameplay are re-visited, re-imagined and emulated to the point that it all just feels so meaningless. Call my feelings post-postmodernism, if you will...

But this game? This is a time capsule. I mean, man, just look at those old videos of San Francisco. A captured memory of a flock of birds that has likely been dead longer than some people watching this video have been alive. Graphics and sounds that, when placed into a game today, would be ironic - and yet then, were they supposed to be ironic or not?

The style is so unequivocally mid-90s - you can clearly place it in its era.

I love it.

It has to be right? Like, the Tim and Eric staff seems like the exact people who would've messed around with these kind of programs.
