Please for the love of god continue this. It is incredibly fun to watch.

So, if you've actually played through the game, don't spoil it for me but am I the only one who think it's really obvious that the guy with the flame thrower in the beginning was just some random guy trying to help the twins and the killer is Josh trying to get revenge.

I saw Mary's playthrough on Gamespot, and I am not gonna say what happens later on, but by this point in the story, I totally thought that Josh is the killer. And yeah, it did not seem like the guy with the flamethrower is evil.

Duder, excellent idea. But personally I'd bump Ashley up to a C and put Emily down to a D. She's got awesome burns but her bitchiness buries it.

Did nobody seriously see the fucking Ju-on ghost chick in the background of the spirit board scene?

This game has such good butts. I want to play it so bad.

I'm pumped for this because this is a game that seems interesting but will never play.

The don't move really does mean don't move, I thought the same as Vinny but I tested it by setting the controller down in a solid spot and it makes you win those prompts

I didn't know I wanted them to play this until I saw the video on the front page.

Now I want all of it.

@biostormx: A quick pro-tip for any who are going to use this trick to scum QTEs: Either turn off the rumble feature or physically hold down the controller. Especially in some... certain sensitive prompts the vibration is enough to jostle the axis and fail you. Not that I would know that from experience or anything, I'd never do such a thing!

Man this is great. This game, this feature, this team. But to piggyback off of what another user said, I've done one play through myself by way of Redbox rental and then went straight to the store to pick this up.

Please, if you enjoy this feature go out and pick up a copy. It's an awesome game that deserves support I'm afraid it just won't get, not only due to its release window, but the sheer number of let's play views it's getting. I'm afraid that so many people will watch it, love it, then never get it because they've already experienced everything it could offer them.

Seeing Vinny's non reaction to some of the things the others say, given he has beaten the game, is priceless. Having seen the game played-through before its hilarious when one of the others says or guesses at something to see how Vinny responds, since he knows if they are right or not.

Doing a good job, I think, of not spoiling anything. Here's hoping by the time they finish the other two don't get spoiled to the plot either. Silly, sure, but the twists and turns of the story are kinda the point? Here's hoping twitter or etc isn't cruel.

I never failed any of the "don't move" sections. I just simply held the controller like normal and tried my best not to move it. I don't think setting it down is gonna work, since it probably rumbles during those moments (I can't remember).

As has been said, please support the developers by buying the game, if you like what you see. Until Dawn is such an awesome game that I'm afraid is going to get lost in the shuffle, especially with so many big titles coming out.

@xymox: The don't move thing really doesn't work that way. There is nothing detecting your light bar, it uses the gyroscope. You just don't move and you'll be fine. I passed most of these by keeping my arms anchored against my lap. Alex is holding it straight out which is gonna make it awful hard to keep still.

I strongly disliked Emily like most people until watching @brodehouse play through it on stream and realized that Ashley can turn pure evil. The worst Emily does is just whine and make sneering faces, AFAIK.

I am REALLY concerned with Alex's inability to hold still. That is going to go realllllly bad later on. And on that note, I never once failed that don't move, maybe he is REALLY shaky because it's not busted

Is this coming out for PC?

It's a Sony game, so don't count on it. It also frequently relies on features of Dual Shock 4 controller, which would be a weird requirement for a PC game.

This was a fun stream. It's an interesting game, too. I think Josh is the killer, but I totally think the man in a gasmask and with a flamethrower isn't up to anything nice either.

PS. It's... "Stormah-reh". Not like NIGHTMARE, anyway. And not like anyone really cares.

Hot prediction: Some characters are going to die because Alex won't be able to hold the controller still.

I really enjoyed this though and am totally down for them to play more next week. This game maybe isn't a buy for me at $60, but I could totally see myself getting it on sale for a little cheaper. Also I might just watch Mary Kish's playthrough and spoil it all for myself.

this game look really good. I would like to see point and click adventure games like myst make a comeback. Just put all the rendering power into the graphics.

If you watch some of Tested's Makerbot videos from back in the Whiskey Media offices, you can see that rocking is pretty standard for Alex, so slight movements might be subconscious for him.

Alex needs to put his arms down on his lap when he's playing this, otherwise whenever someone has to stay still they all gonna explode

Weird how you guys have a totally different order to me, I'm trying to see up until I can watch and it's not in the order I done things.
