You're right, it is an argument for the "let's play" format being a copyright violation. But at the heart of any copyright violation is the contention of monetary loss. If you can show that viewers wouldn't purchase something prior to getting it for free, and not only that but show that they did purchase something later due to getting it for free the argument will hold less weight.

In any case, "let's plays" and copyright claims are a problem courts can deal with in the future, whereas funding for a sequel or new project is one Supermassive Games has to deal with in the present.

So I reiterate, if you liked watching this game go buy this game, so you can like watching the next one.

I swear when I came to the website yesterday at the top it said "Until Dawn: Part 2" was live, with the "join the chat" option and everything, but when I clicked on the video nothing happened, and when I refreshed the page it was mysteriously gone...

Did they already do Part 2? Or have they said when they'll be doing it?

Not gonna lie, I kinda like Mike. Didn't like him at the start but he grew on me.

I hated Mike at first but towards the end he ended up being my second favorite character behind Sam.

This is really enjoyable, so much so that I'm not sure if I want to continue watching Alex & Co. play this game or if I should do it for myself first. Ugh.

Having been there live and watching how it all played out, I'm excited to go back and watch it all from the start. Definitely something for the mornings though - I don't deal well watching any kind of horror/thriller stuff past mid-afternoon.

Just rented this game yesterday and finished it in one long sitting. I really wanted to do another playthrough but I'm cheap so I returned it. I really want to see the guys' playthrough of this. I only regretted two decisions I made because it was late and I was sleepy; they cost me three more characters in the end who probably would have survived. Totally keeping my save and am going to buy this game when it goes on sale for cheap at some point.

Lit a candle. Lavender scented. Lights off. Game fresh in my mind. Ready to veg out and watch three men play a game I just played. Happy F'ing New Year.

I really enjoyed this game when I played it ~a year ago. I'm replaying it with my fiance now (she's making the choices while I control) and she is totally hooked. She doesn't play games at all, other than probably Mario or something when she was little, maybe not even that, but she loves how Until Dawn looks like a movie and she likes choosing what the characters do. So, yeah, this is a great s/o game, even if your s/o isn't normally into them. Also you can get it for <$20 used now, totally worth it.

Perfect time to watch these again as Halloween is fast approaching.

Starts off promising, but the guys seem to rapidly devolve into elementary school versions of themselves and end up making smartass comments and jokes about literally EVERY line or action in the game. It just ends up with them yelling "jokes" over each other and becomes a total nightmare to watch.
