I have no nostalgia for Joe, but I kinda want to go back and watch the show. I will say, they're bad, but I actually like those live action movies. They were fun and dumb in the right way.

That GI Joe game reminds me of an arcade cabinet I used to own called Devastators. It was a ton of fun.

Wait, so someone can play on the mister with you across the internet or is it some kind of direct TCP/IP connection? That totally changes my interest in it! I mean, I am sure I can do it over a Pi too but the hardware on the mister gives me the right kind of feels.

That was a great stream, thanks! Really fun seeing everyone together. I'd never seen that whole GI Joe arcade game until now, but played a few times back in the arcade days. I loved how weird Thunderjaws is! It'd be fun to see you dudes play Xenophobe which is also the same variety of weird on that similar Atari arcade hardware.

That was a fun stream and was great listening to GB crew and also chat going through all the great 80's cartoons and toys. The GI Joe arcade game was such a coin guzzler back in the day.

Also this is https://youtu.be/Ev1aBt-_Zs4 Ulysses 31. It was actually quite a dark series because it was based on stories from Greek mythology mixed with 31st century edge.

If it means losing so many of the solo streams, I'm more than happy to do so if it means going back to the old type of videos. I enjoyed this a lot.

I had this GI Joe game as a young child. I sucked ass at it but played it a bunch regardless. Then the day came when I figured out how to actually win the walking levels. I was soooo pissed when I discovered you couldn't actually beat the game and someone always escaped.

The intro to the animated movie is still amazing.

I never played any of these G.I. Joe games as a kid. But I loved the NES games. G.I. Joe, and G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor. I loved that you could have a rotation of your favorite Joe's, and level their gun power up. I remember not caring for Snake-Eyes' weird magic cloud things the would shoot out. I couldn't understand why they just didn't give him a gun like he does in the comics/show.

I am down for "Learning Up The Millenials On Gen X Kids Shit" series.

It was mentioned it's on youtube but I only found like random episodes, not sure if they are all there or what order. I found this page on Wikipedia but this all seems very confusing...hahaha.

From the sounds of it this show really does go some places and I need to experience it for myself.

@reap3r160 well, you can get a Comixology Unlimited account, and read all of the classic comics. They're better than the cartoon, and it's a more complete lore.
