I'm going to really, really, really miss Austin. Going to keep following his work obviously, but it's still sad. He may leave, but speaking only for myself, I'll always see him as part of the GB crew no matter where he ends up. Same with Patrick.

it was awesome seeing jeff bakalar but hearing about austin really was a bummer he meshed so well with the east crew and everybody else felt like he was always there

thanks for all of the e3 coverage last week I was in the hospital over the weekend and past few days I tuned in to everything live and laid in bed listening and feeling like I have some friends in this world. you give a lot of happiness to so many people everyone at giant bomb thanks for everything and this e3 was magical.

That first segment was real boring.

I'm really going to miss Austin, he brought a perspective which we seem to so rarely hear, and he had an interest in game genres which really broadened what the site covered. I hope that he will drop in often and I wish him the best of luck on his upcoming endeavor, whatever it may be!

Super bummed that Austin is leaving, because he was such a fresh and interesting addition to the crew that I truly believe was needed at the site, and made the (B)east coast lineup an all-star team. But, also super excited for whatever he does next and I wish that duder the best!

Johnny V is a lovely boy and I'm confident that he will get an amazing new job somewhere. I think Lang should extend an olive branch and make JV a new character in Killer Instinct Season 4. He'd get royalties off that, right?

Well, where ever it is, if you do half as good a job there as you've done at GBeast then it's a very lucky place indeed. I'm going to miss you voice and opinion on things. I didn't always agree with you but you (and the rest of the crew) honestly help me grow as a person so I'll be forever grateful.

Damn. @austin_walker was such a huge addition to this site for me. Having someone with any sort of leftist critical voice was really important to me. I still love Giant Bomb of course, but damn if this isn't a huge blow. Keep killin it man!
