I had a Vectrex as a kid that we got from my uncle, I have crazy nostalgia for that thing. Gotta play Scramble! I'm still bummed he took it back at some point and I never saw it again, it's probably the one "retro gaming" thing I would by for myself if I had the money/space.

Miracle berry suggestions, because you're all doing it wrong: Lemons, whiskey, limes... that is what you should be going for. You're missing how intense the swing is when something that is usually gross is suddenly delicious. It makes things sweet and you guys are standing around eating candies, wondering why it isn't doing anything. /facepalm

Minestorm on that Vectrex actually looks pretty awesome. Definitely impressive for something that came out in '82.

@orbital667: Sour Cream is pretty great with Miricle Berries, it tastes exactly like Cheese Cake.

Like everyone else, I had a friend who had a Vectrex it was the only time I ever saw it as a kid. I remember going to his house and he had it in his room. I thought he was so lucky.

Mine Storm was pretty fun tho.

I have more Taco Bell hot sauce packets at my office desk than Dan. I can't decide if I what I should be feeling is pride or shame.

I'm surprised they are so mystified about what "miracle berries" does... all it does it make bitter taste sweet. It's not exactly a new product, I think I bought some off ThinkGeek for christmas at least 6 years ago for fun. Does work best with lemon/limes.

Vectrex is one of the coolest retro home consoles I've ever seen. My uncle still has one with a ton of games, the box and the pen which allowed for drawing your own vector art. I remember playing with it whenever we went to visit him. It still is a weird piece of tech and I have nothing but fond memories of it. I hope to add one to my collection sometime!

I hope you guys will do something with it on a show sometime, no matter how impractical capturing video of it may be!
