Brad next time you need a game box plastic cover off, don't use your teeth just find a staple/pushpin. Quite strange to see that stand with the game as the game doesn't seem to need it. Looks like if you have 2 of those stands you can make a good ipad stand instead.

From the Ars Technica review of Kid Icarus, it sounds like the stand is very necessary. This game has controls that rival Monster Hunter for awkwardness.

And Jeff was there and there was no Cop Knife... what the fuck? Dude, if there's some sort of misguided No-Knife Policy in the new facility I'm protesting.

So is the Circle Pad Pro required for left-handed gamers like Jeff and myself? With original DS games that had a similar control scheme (Super Mario 64 DS, Metroid Prime: Hunters) it wasn't too big of a deal because the face buttons could pretty much substitute the D pad for lefties, but you can't really do that with an analog stick. This seems like a huge oversight on Nintendo's part.

Unboxing videos and mailbag videos are not the same. I saw no box with all those stamps and address papers and stuff that you need to mail something to someone. Also no letter. No tearing up ill-conceived boxes.

Well now all you need is a magnifier attachement with redundant light, nerf armour, a screen protector and you'll be fully immersed in the world of 3DS.

Giant Vinny face was scary and good.

As somebody who has played a handful of DS games that require you to both move a character with your thumb AND hold the DS with that same hand while the other one operates the touch screen, I can say that I find the experience uncomfortable and unwieldy. I always feel like I am about to drop the DS, I don't get a good sense of control like I would if the system was stabilized in two hands, and after more than say 10 or 15 minutes of play I start to get a cramp in the hand that is clenched around the system right in the ball of my thumb. To say that it is awkward is an understatement. 
 
I'd assume the stand is made for people like me, but I think the stand is a ridiculous idea, too. I don't want to use that thing.
